The tv remote might have a problems.U tried pushing the manual power button on the tv itself also?Yes?Tries tv unplug, replug it back like about an hour later, for the tv resetting itself back to the factory setting.Tv now should be working again. If still have the same result the power supply board is the causes and the problems. That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

My Toshiba 32wl66 when pluged into the mains will not always switch on,by the switch or remote, there is no standby led alight. unpluging and pluging the 13 amp plug into the mains will cure the problem...

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

The standby light just blinks when i try to turn it on and it wont turn on

Count the number of blinks of the standby light. It will bink a count, pause and do it again (Common counts are 2 -9) Give this count to a Sony service center and they can help you know what the issue is. (Probably the lamp)

T.v on standby, red light flashing 3 times, wont switch on

Shutdown with a 3x blink pattern occurs if the 12v from the power supply (GF1 or GF2 depending on model) is lost at CN6153/pin 6 to the AU Board Q1224 to Sub Micro IC1205. The suspects, in order of likelihood, are (1) Power supply and (2) the AU board.
