Washer has completed cycle and is still full of murky water

I removed the washer and found the drain lines were full of residue left over from using Phosphate Free detergents. All lines were flushed and we are back in order. Local gov't has banned phosphates as we reside above an Aquifer ( underground river ). Something else to do preventive mntce. on. Thanks for the tips. Joe

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or bad drain pump. You can remove the bottom access panel and check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. Make sure its unplugged before you start this, remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. After that check the drain filter and clean the drain filter & pump. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller. If after cleaning its not resolved then the drain pump should be replaced, you can check this video for replacement, cleaning the drain pump assembly:
Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Washer will not complete full cycle and is holding water in the basket?

What part of the cycle is the washer sticking on? It sounds like you either have a timer problem or possibly a water valve problem. There is even a chance that it's the lid switch not allowing the washer to spin water out.

Does it go into spin ever? If so, does it stop at the rinse cycle every time?

Let me know and I'll help you diagnose further.

Washer will not drain

Try to do a spin only cycle....if no good there, vacum water out with a shop vac and have a few towels handy and check your pump.

Remove the hose from the water level switch and blow air through it.

LG Tromm Washer

Wash empry with detergent and double bleach with extra hot water. When cycle is complete open the door to the washer and let airdry. When you close the door with it wet it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. You may also not be using the correct detergent or the correct amount of detergent.
