get the vista 32bit drivers for it,ive come across the same problem a few times with 7 on outdated hardware and for me the vista drivers just worked as well

make sure u download approriate one, if ur using a 32bit vista then download 32bit Daemon tools.
You can find out what version of Vista you are running, by clicking the Start button, right clicking computer, then choosing properties from the menu. It will tell you whether your running the 64 bit or 32 version of vista.

If your vista is ULTIMATE 64bit it wont work, and there are no drivers for that either, if you have vista ultimate 32bit then you vill find the drivers, manual and everything else there is about that handycam here:

You can't "convert" a 64bit OS to 32bit. You would need to re-install the 32bit version of XP. Sorry.

if windows explorer dont start use task manager-> run to copy missing DLL

You will need to install the update first, I found 3 versions of ATK0100. You can try all versions if you like starting with the latest version. Just remember to create a restore point before you install any of the drivers that you want to upgrade just in case anything goes wrong, you can go back to an earlier time when the system is working OK.
