I lost my download disk and need it to open instal wizard to upload pictures from my phones memory

With all digital cameras the maker delivers a CD (DVD) with software to install on your computer. This makes it possible to put the pictures from the camera on any computer. On the disk(s) are drivers for all operating systems that need them. (Windows 7 and up do have all drivers for hardware that is certified by Microsoft) And there are programs to download the pictures from the camera to the PC. Sometimes the manufactures also delivers software to organise the pictures in folders and software to view or even enhance the pictures you shot.
When you lost the disk, most of the time you can get the software on the website for your brand. Sometimes you even get newer, updated software and new drivers if needed.
If you can't get software form your brand, you always can install other generic software like Ulead, Pixir, BeFunkey, Gimp, Photoshop express. Or if that is not possible you could install an external memory card reader and download the pictures via de memory card reader.

Does your phone have a micro SD card? The lost pictures were initially stored in the card, so you may need a photo recovery tool on your computer. Give this one a go if you're a Mac user.

There is two way to upload pictures to your computer.

First you can upload directly form your phone trough the use of your phone USB cable. But this part you need to install your phone driver so that your phone would be detected.

Second you can upload pictures trough the use of memory card reader and no driver needed. Be sure the the picture in your phone are stored in memory card. At this time the things you should do is to remove your memory card from your phone. Insert your memory card to the memory card reader and plug to your computer. Now you can start to upload your picture.

You can upload MP3 files in phone memory like this :
1. Connect your phone with PC via USB cable
2 You must have at least Windows XP SP 2
3 Open ,,Removable disk" form ,,My Computer"
4 Open Sounds and there you will find MP3 Folder.
5 Paste the songs that you want from Your PC

If you are using Memory Card you will have 2 ,,removable disk" partitions.

Lexmark does not distribute replacement install disk for all models.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading, find thefile,double click on the file, then if you get introubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

just connect it to your usb port and open like a normal file and you can save it just like a normal file from a usb.

u can do it easly go to settings connections usb connections then click on mass storage, if it says something about a memory card buy a cheap one mine cost 12.99 for a 2gb one put it in your phone and u can download picture sync music and upload ur own

After installing the software you have to go through the Tools menu where you can select for the USB port to be a COM or a vertual DISK. This is in the user guide for your particular model.

If the port is set to be a DISK (may be called differently in the particular model and country series), you can transfer files to and from the phone as if it was a thumb drive. The Motorola software is not required for this. You have to also make sure that the memory card containing the pictures is selected in the Picture Options. The two options available are the internal memory, or the memory card.

To recharge the phone with a PC, the Motorola software must be installed. It is actualy better to charge the phone with its own mains charger than use the port of the PC.

All what I am saying here is in the user instructions that came with the phone. Motorola has a downloadable PDF manual for your phone if you prefer to read it on your PC.
