Hi cmanuelito03,

This might be because of your mobile phone's battery, i would suggest for you to buy a new battery for the model of your mobile phone.

But for now i would just turn the phone off for a couple of minutes, after that give it another try, if it still heats up then i suggest for you to go for my first suggestion.

good luck!

The phone does not hold charge... dies after a few minutes of talk time

Quite probably it's the battery. Open it, get the specification for battery and buy a new one. Be careful, there are many very similar batteries but connection to phone is different.

You should contact tracfone (as trying as that can be).I have lost minutes for no reason and i don't have pinger. be insistant as to what you lost and you want it back. pinger also offers support but,i suspect tracfone. I have given up on zte and tracfone.be leary of there byod program, they told me a galaxy s3 would work but after i bought it they said it wouldn't. i had it flashed to pageplus and pay $12. a month for 250 min.,250 text & 10 mb data. They also have other great plans and use verizon network. Hope this is some help. good luck.

I have a model KX-TG6445T PANASONIC 5 HANSET CORDLESS PHONE SYSTEM, THE PHON PHONE HAS NO DIAL TONE, AND SAYS PHONE IN USE. COMPUTER WORKS SO THINK IT IS A PHONE LINE AS THEY SHARE THE SAME LINE . HELP!

hi ... try this, change the cord in first.
if this don`t work: and make this test. whit another phone connected maybe in other place of the house(check first if you have dial tone ), plug the problematic phone, wait few minutes press talk on the other phone. if don't have dial tone the problem is the phone unit ,was impact by a lightning on the phone line.
few minutes after you connect the cord the line make a shortcut.
only an electronic technician can repair that, and sometimes is expensive.

I HAVE A NEW STRAIT TALK CELL PHONE AND I'M GET MY OLD NUMBER TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW PHONE IS POSE TO SHUT OFF EVERY TEN MINUTES

Porting your old number over to a new phone and carrier will have nothing to do with the phone shutting off every few minutes. The phone should turn on and stay on weather active on a network or not. Your phone may have a problem. Which Samsung phone did you get? One of the sliders or the new touch screen? Use the new phone, dial 611, this will connect you to straightalks support, tell them about the problem and let them talk you through the new phones setup. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.

No dial tone but the word "talk" appears and it lights up so I don't think the battery is dead.

I agree that the battery sounds good.
So, do you have another phone to confirm that you have dialtone coming into your home?
If so, then the two ends of your wireless phone are not communicating...
They will try to resync if you power both ends off for a few minutes (unplug the base and remove the battery from the handset).

After a few minutes off, reconnect everything and place the handset in the base.....
After 5 or so minutes, test again. If it is NOT broken inside, it should provide dialtone (if it is coming into your home).
