Try not adding too many sheets on your tray. The sensor may not function well.

Take out the paper! just kidding :)
I guess it's a problem with a sensor in the output tray that has either fallen off or got stuck in an up position by some paper.
Either you put it back, remove the paper that is stopping the sensor from moving freely or call an engineer

I have a WorkCentre 5225 and it is telling me that I have an error (code #071-210) what is this error?

That error specifies a Tray 1 lift failure.

You probably can hear the motor lift 127K38171 when you re-insert the tray, so maybe the lift motor is bad or maybe a sensor
930W00113 is falsely accusing our motor.

Xerox Phaser 8550 error message 11.001.47

The Upper 535 sheet feeder is not being detected.
Lots of things can cause that. Loose grounds.
A bad connection to the power board, A pinched harness, A bad Input output board,Electronics module,
Going to be a difficult one to track down.
One thing to take note of, that could be easy. There is a posibillity that the tray lift motor is not working. Shove the paper tray in and listen for the tray to lift. Pull the tray out and see if it is dropping.
If not, you could be fortunate enough to have a bad tray lift motor.
YOu may want to open the back cover plate, WITH THE MACHINE OFF and remove the memory and try resetting that.
the .47 indicates a tray lift problem.
Looking at the documentation it states that either the lift motor has failed, and if that does not resolve the problem the Electronics module has failed. The Electronics module is very expensive.

There are special cleaning sheets that you need to get for this printer. Ask the company you get your ink from, they should be able to get you some.
