I need software for the Flash Trax not a Canon 10D. I was having trouble with a newer 5D not the 10D. The Flash Trax works with the older 10D, but not the newer 5D. The Flash Trax model FTX 40 is a product of SmartDisk, if this helps. I know SmartDisk issued updates for Flash Trax. I just can't locate them.

I went to your first item for the fix and it said it was for Flash Trax NT. I wasn't sure if it would work on my FXT model. The insructions said using the wrong drivers could damage my computer[somehow]. What is your recommendation?

It was helpful but I found solution by accident. Flash Trax was already working importing 5D Raw files. I just didn't know the software well enough to realize it!

My Digital Camera, EOS 300D, Digital Rebel EOS 5D is not compatible with my new Windows Vista. I can't download my images.

There are two was around this:
1) Get an external USB card reader - I recommend this, because it is faster and does not require any software updating
2) Download the latest EOS Utility from the Canon web site; you also need to download the latest drivers. The cameras you name are supported by Vista, but the original software isn't.
