I have an RCA RT2870 Home Theater System When you power it on it comes on but if you switch from one source to the other the system will shut off. Like if you switch from DVD to AUX or if you try to eject a DVD it will also switch off.

Since the RT2870 doesn't have and preamp outs, to WHAT are you referring?

That's because a USB turntable is a bit higher up the compexity foodchain than a USB drive with files already on it. The RT doesn't support anything but USB devices that mimic storage devices.

mine would go blue then just turn off, its the amp sta 517b is burnt out

Well, I just returned the unit. RCA replied with the following solution:
Let the unit sit with the AC power cord out of the wall for a couple of
hours. Then hit the power button 10-15 times (with the AC power cord still
out of the wall socket!) and then try again.

Make sure that ALL ur cable r well conected! Sometimes just by moving cables it makes a difference.

My RCA model #RT2870 subwoofer doesn't work but the sub light is on... HELP!!!
