It stopped working this morning. It's not the socket.

Could be damaged loom feeding the ignition/start circduit or fuse blown maybe.
A mechanic will know this.

Is it cooling ok everything else working? Isolate rattle and determine power in socket. Don't use finger. Husbands will work fine. Kidding.

check for power at socket
if no power check where wire comes from lid to body way be unpluged or brocken
follow the wire until you find power

yes frnd there is one socket at the door side , it is at near hinjes of door that socket is lose, just remove that and place it back.

Make sure that all scarts and sockets are plugged in tightly. Try different inputs, try connecting a DVD player or another piece of equipment to the sockets in turn. Also, if you`ve got a sky box, remove the scart plugs one at a time and reconnect it immediately so that you know where you took it from. Check if there`s a switch on the back for external speakers, Make sure it`s switched to internal. Some of the TV`s have the switch for internal and external speakers in the menu`s. Same, it worked in the morning, then after lunch, it would not come on. Totally dead. I check the cable and it is working. I have a backup cable too so I know it isn't the cable.

if your drive is under warranty then take it to the service centre, or if its not then remove the casing , take out the hard disk , then put it on a new casing

Hello Ncerritos. I have an ideaj that may help. First disconnect the AC power. Second disconnect the RS232 or interconnect cable to the mainframe and look for bent pins in cable or socket. If you find pins bent I worn you they are no very fexable. If it is the cable it would be safer to replace the cable, If its the socket you may try straighting CAREFULLY. I wish you luck on this ventur.

Have you checked to ensure the monitors video cable is connected? Sounds like a no video problem.
