Hi you may have taken care of this by now, but anytime they start leaking from the bottom, they have rusted out and you will need to have it replaced.

I have a Titan tankless hot water heater. I get hot water from the faucets but not in the shower. Do you have a solution?

try opening the faucet and the shower at the same time. some shower heads don't draw enough water for the tankless to fire.

Replaced both elements, both thermostats. What else could it be?

no hidden switches!, did you replace bottom elements? and thermostats? one hint...bottom element heats first, then top...never both at one time.

Water hardness

Magnesium Anode rodes will make water smell like rotten eggs. If you can for your heater get a aluminum anode rode and replace the one you have.

I have a hot water heater, for some reason it started leaking were the cold water goes in, it was leaking were the round white cover that cover the whole that the connection goes in the tank. Can you tell me...

To find out you need to cut away the white cover to see where the leak is coming from. This white cover is just cosmetic.

If the leak is on the connection where the supply line comes in, then is usually can be fixed.

If the leak is on the metal of the tank below the connection, then there is no fixing it. The metal just below the white plastic is part of the tank.

If the leak is on the connection, it can all be replaced. I recommend replacing the nipple going into the water heater with a 3/4" x 3" brass nipple. From there I recommend using a 3/4" x 3/4" x 18"-24" copper water heater flex. This assuming that you have a flex line installed now. If not I still recommend the brass nipple and the copper flex, but you can get a 3/4" Sharkbite Male adapter to adapt to copper pipe. (Use this fitting instead of having to solder. This fitting is found at Home Depot and Lowes. Be sure not to have any burrs on the copper pipe, because Sharkbites use an O'ring which can be damaged by any burrs.)

If you have a different plumbing installation, please contact me.

My washer flooded my basement causing my pilot light to go out on my hot water heater. Now it won't ignite.

I don't know how high the water got but if only the burner was covered it is probably just dirt. Try replacing the thermocouple this is usually less than $10. If the gas valve itself was wet REPLACE THE WATER HEATER!!!!!!! Never trust a gas valve that has been wet!!!!! It can seem to work just fine but get stuck in the open position defeating all safety measures.
