What operating system are you using? What camera? Have you tried right-clicking on the image and going to "Open With" ?

If your downloading photos from your camera, take the sd card out of it and plug that into your comuter directly (if you can) that should open as a storage device, click on open folder to view files and find you photos there, you should be able to view them and drag and drop them into a folder of your choice. If you dont have a sd card reader on your computer, you will have to use the cable that came with your camera. but if this is the case, install the software that came with your camer and use that as your photo editor. It probably is a program from U-Lead or something like that

How to edit picture?

Hi

You don't say which operating system you are using.

Photo Editing requires Photo Editing Software.

To do basic photo editing (cropping, rotating, flipping, adjust brightness, adjust contrast, adjust image size, adjust colo(u)r, adjust exposure, adjust size, adjust red eye) you can use free, built-in software that comes bundled with Windows and Microsoft Office such as: Paint, Microsoft Picture Viewer and Windows Photo Gallery.

In increasing order of editing functions:

Windows Photo Gallery: Fix > Auto Adjust, Adjust Exposure, Adjust Colour, Crop Picture, Fix Red Eye

Microsoft Office Picture Viewer: Picture > Brightness & Contrast, Colour, Crop, Rotate, Flip, Red Eye Removal, Resize, Compress.

Paint: Image > Flip/Rotate, Resize/Skew, Crop, Invert Colours, Adjust Attributes, Clear Image, Opaque.

In Paint you can also use additional tools to manipulate the image or add or delete shapes, text and colour (with a selection of writing or drawing implements): Free Form Select, Select, Fill with Colour, Magnifier, Brush, Text, Curve, Polygon, Rounded Rectangle, Ellipse, Rectangle, Line, Airbrush, Pencil, Pick Colour, Eraser/Colour Eraser.

In Windows Photo Gallery you can view and edit the same image in either of these 3 programs by clicking Open.

For more advanced photo editing, you can use the bundled software that comes with digital cameras such as:

Adobe Photoshop Elements

ACDSee

Picasa

Photo Studio

For more advanced, professional standard photo editing you must buy expensive Photo Ediiting and Graphic Design software such as:

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe LightRoom

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe InDesign

CorelDRAW

Corel Painter

I hope this helps.

Crop a photo

Your best bet is to download the photograph and crop it in Microsoft paint (or any other editor) then re-upload to Facebook.
Unless you wish to use the picture as your profile picture, in which case just click "use as profile picture" and crop.

I want to download my photos from my T027 camera to my MAC computer but I can't find any software. Is this camera just for a PC?

The camera came with a USB cord, just place the cord into your camera's mini USB slot and then plug it into your computer. A dialog box will appear with options, you can either choose an automatic option or click the yellow folder icon, to view your photos to file and/or edit them however you choose.

Most camera manufacturers DO provide a disk that contains organizational and photo editing software, but Widows has the same tools. Unless you are a professional, whether you use Windows, your camera manufacturer's, or a retail photo editor is a matter of preference. I am no way a professional photographer; I have always used the Windows My Photos, folder and Windows photo editor. It's straightforward and simple enough, for anyone to use.

Microsoft also has a neat, free, download called Photo Story which allows you to very, very simply; make a photo slide-show, set to music from your My Music or a favorite CD, iPod, etc. You can then burn the slideshow/music project to a disk, e-mail it to friends and family, and/or store the project to your hard-drive.

Enjoy and Thank You For Choosing FixYa~!

My problem is with MS Photo Editor bundled with Office: I can no no longer run it in a ''normal'' sized window. When I use it to open a JPEG, it starts out minimized, and R-clicking on the taskbar icon and...

Try this:

Find the MS photo program on your hard drive (I believe, but am not sure, it is located here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Photo Editor.Exe Create a shortcut (right click on Photo Editor.exe and choose create shortcut) to the program. Then, after the shortcut is created, RIGHT click on the shortcut and click on properties. In the properties windows that pops up, find "run probram MAXIMIXED and make sure that is checked." then, click on OK a couple of times until you can see the "shortcut to photo editor.exe" shortcut. Double-click on that shortcut, which should start photo editor maximized.

Woo Hoo.

Now close photo editor.

Hopefully from this point on every time you open photo editor it will open maximized because you have just tweaked the registry to do so...

Take care,
Rob

Cannot open some photos in microsoft photo editor

Your computer will have to have enough RAM, speed, and CPU power to open the large format pictures. We are using computers with at least 4 gb of RAM with dual core processors for the large format pictures.

A solution you can use would be to go in to the set-up of your camera and cut down the resolution of the piictures. If you do this, then there would be no point in the cost of having the level of camera that you are using. The pictures will then look like and have the quality of a lower end camera.
