Sounds like youneed the correct driver for the bluetooth...here is a link to Acers drivers and just select the bluetooth driver from the first drop-down menu and install it:

How do I activate Bluetooth on Acer Aspire 4810TZ-4696?

Check to see if there is an "Fn" key to enable Bluetooth. Most Acer's have a bluetooth icon on the F3 key. By pressing Fn-F3 you are able to enable or disable bluetooth.

Acer Aspire 3618AWLCi bluetooth

Activate the Bluetooth features of your Acer Aspire to unlock your laptop's wireless function.

Bluetooth technology allows your computer to control and share data with external devices without having to use a connection cable or download drivers. In order to establish the connection with other enabled devices, you must first enable the Bluetooth antenna so other devices can locate your computer.

Press the "Bluetooth" button found just above the keyboard. The LED above the button should illuminate. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add a Device." Your Acer scans for other Bluetooth devices in the area. Click the name of the device in the window that appears, and click "Next" to establish a connection with the external device.

Hiya, its an acer aspire 4810t laptop.the f3 button has a bluetooth icon on it,but still unsure how to turn on.thanks

You are looking for one of my favorite keys...the "fn" (or function) key. Juust left of the windows key (under your left palm) is the fn key. Pressing this key at the same time as a key with the F3 key will toggle your bluetooth on and off. In fact, the fn key will toggle several keys if they have a blue icon printed under the main number.

After you uninstall the driver you might want to reboot then reinstall. Also make sure you have the correct drive 64bit - 32bit etc. could also be a button on your laptop my acer has one for enabling blue tooth. If that doesn't work also check in device mgr right click my computer or computer form the start menu then properties then device mgr right click on the blue tooth device and select enable.

How do u turn on the wireless capability on an acer aspire 4810TZ?

The "Communication Key" controls the wireless function. This key is located above the keyboard on the right. There are a series of keys together to the left of the right speaker port. The communication key is the far left key in this group of buttons.

If you are trying to enable bluetooth simply press the fn+F3 key to turn bluetooth on.
