Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Sadly, it sounds like you have a faulty disk lense on your system and it's not recognizing disks. This issue is quite rare on newer consoles but the only good and realiable fix is to send it to official Sony Tech Support. Other solutions involve ordering the needed parts online and having a third party or yourself try to repair it, but this is not recommended.
Please note that any attemt to fix it yourself or take apart the console results in a void warranty. If your system is still under warranty (which i'm guessing it is since it's newish) then you shouldn't have any problems getting it replaced.
I'm sorry i couldn't give you more support on the issue.
