Question about Sony MDR-F1 Consumer Headphones

1 Answer

My Sony MDRF810RK wireless headphones cut out after five minutes when connected to my Sony Bravia KDL TV. I have replaced the transmitter and power unit and the same problem arises. The same problem does not arise when I connect the headphones to my smaller Sony TV! Also, my Sony Bravia TV works OK with a cheaper Sony infrared "wireless" headset! Any ideas?

Hello!
I must inform you that most of the wireless headphones has an automatic shut-off which puts it in stand-by when there is no sound going in to it. Or if the sounds in the tv is too quiet the headphones will think you have finished using it.

What you need to do is increase the volume setting of the TV. And turn the volume control on the headphones down then as well - assuming that your headphone base unit is connected to the headphone socket of the TV.

Let me know if you want me to help you further.
