1. Check microphone(s) batteries and replace if the
charge is low.
2 Remove local sources of UHF interference, such as
lighting equipment.
3. Adjust the squelch controls on the front of the UHF-
5800 receiver.
4. Signal may be too weak. If so, reposition antennas.
If possible, move them closer to the transmitter.
5. Reposition the receiver, perform a "walkthrough",
and observe the signal strengths. If audio dropouts
persist, mark these "dead spots" in the operating
area and avoid them during the performance.
If none of these could help it is possible that the device has really some faulty operation and needed to carry it to service center.
Good luck!

Expand coverage range

Wireless Protocols A wireless router's range is determined by what 802.11 protocol is used, the overall strength of the router itself, and the nature of the obstructions and interference in the area.
The 802.11g protocol supports speeds up to 56Mbps. Its biggest drawback is that this protocol operates on the same band (2.4GHz) as many other devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones. Because of this, in all likelihood your wireless connection will be negatively impacted by interference from other devices.
The 802.11n protocol operates on the 5GHz band and is advertised to support speeds up to 300Mbps. Actual speeds, however, are much less. To take advantage of this protocol, all connected devices must be 802.11n compliant, and you should be aware that the 5GHz band, while allowing for less interference than the 2.4GHz band, will result in reduced signal range.
Wireless Signal Strength and Speed
Signal strength depends on the distance, the number of obstacles, and the type of obstacles your signal encounters. Signal strength stability is affected by physical changes in the environment, such as movement of the computer, people movement, and electrical devices. In fact, I completely lose my signal if I have my laptop in the kitchen when the microwave is running. Troubleshooting your wireless router can be very difficult because there are so many constantly changing variables that affect wireless signal quality. Consider the following to improve your wireless router signal and speed:
Position your router in a better location. Try to locate it in the center of the house. Elevate the router in the room and keep it away from other electronic devices and metal objects. Since cordless phones can adversely affect router performance, position the router as far away from phones as possible. The fewer obstacles in the way, the better chance your computer has of obtaining a quality signal.
Change the Wi-Fi Channel. Signal quality can be adversely affected if too many people use the same channel. See if switching channels makes any difference. You can use channels 1 through 11, but for best performance, use 1, 6, or 11.
Update firmware or drivers. Check your router's web site to ensure the latest firmware has been installed on the router. Also, make sure the latest driver has been installed. I noticed a slight increase in signal strength when I updated my driver.
Replace your antenna. Replacing your antenna with a high gain antenna may improve your signal quality. There was no noticeable improvement when I tried this option.
Replace your adapter. Check to make sure your computer's internal adapter isn't defective. If necessary, you can either replace the internal adapter or purchase an USB adapter, The USB adapter includes an external antenna.
Implement an additional access point or repeater. In theory, additional access points and repeaters will extend the distance of the signal. There are mixed reviews as to how effective these are, but they are worth a try if other options are unsuccessful.
There are several applications designed to monitor your wireless router performance. However, one way to obtain a rough estimate of your router's performance is to hold a laptop near the router. Access the wireless utility software on the laptop and note the readout, which should be excellent or close to 100%. Carry the laptop out of the room, noting any changes in signal strength. If the signal strength drops to poor or a very low percentage signal reading, then the router may be performing properly but obstacles, either structural or electrical, may be interfering with your router's broadcast signal. The results of your evaluations will help you determine if wireless signal quality issues exist in certain locations in your house.
What Worked for Me
There are several possible ways to improve wireless router signal quality in your home. Try the least expensive solutions first. Otherwise, you may be needlessly spending money for equipment that doesn't solve your specific issue. In my particular case, I was able to obtain some slight improvement by updating software and making some system improvements. Ultimately, I was able to get the signal strength and speed I wanted by using two routers on opposite ends of the house. My primary router, which is connected to the modem, is on the first floor. My secondary router is on the second floor and is connected to the primary router by an ethernet cable. This was the best and least expensive solution that provided me with very good coverage inside and outside my house.

Losing internet connection

CONTINUAL DISCONNECTION OF WIRELESS CONNECTION
There are a few things that can cause you to lose wireless connection with your wireless router. 1. Weak signal strength, check the signal strength on your wireless card. If it is weak move the wireless router away from brick or concrete walls and if possible locate the wireless router higher up. 2. Have you secured your wireless router from people near your from unauthorized access? i.e. change the default password, setup encryption use WPA2 or WPA, change the default SSID, and turn off SSID broadcast, and for added protection, enable MAC address filtering which allows only the MAC address/es of your wireless card/s to connect to your wireless router. 3. You could be getting interference from electrical sources such as air conditioners, arc welders, washing machines etc. If so, the power supply to the wireless routers and computers etc should be connected to a surge protection power board, better still connect your computer equipment to an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). 4. Check the channels of the wireless routers and access points in your area and change the broadcast channel on your wireless router to an unused channel or one that is currently used but has the weakest signal strength. This will minimize interference with your wireless router from other wireless routers and access points in your area.

My friend has gave me a nokia 5800 and everytime i make a call it comes up with a connection error i have reset the phone to its factory setting but it still wont work, is there anything i can do to fix...

that is a network signal problem, the area where are you using maybe signal strength is low, you need to talk about this to your service provider, also try to press # and make a call, it will search network manually on device and then make a call (this will solve temporally the problem).

I purchased mu HP Officeject 6500 Wireless within the past 12 months. I have had multiple instances where the printer stops scanning and sometimes stops printing. My tech guyhas fixed it 4-5 times and it...

Might be a problem with the router, or router location. Check the signal strength from the printer.
If your signal only has 1 or 2 bars, it could lose its connection very easily.

You should be able to move your modem and router, anywhere in the house, and it will not erase settings. Just have to have a strong cable signal going to the modem.

If the signal strength is not the problem, your router could be getting hot and cutting out. Or getting old and going bad. Try also resetting the router and reconfiguring it.

Most of the channels breaking up despite auto retuning

could be one of a few things,
low signal strength, aerial out of line with transmitter.
bad coax connections losing signal strength.
coax broken inside, or old and not low loss.
Get the aerial checked for direction, half a degree out of line over a few miles and you will lose a lot of signal strength, as will old coax (aerial cable) and if you are using an unshielded coax you could be losing signal strength through the cable itself. Replace the connecters and try to use a straight run of cable instead of having joins in it as these joins, even if using connecters, will cause a weak signal. If yiu are running more than one tv off your aerial, invest in a booster.

How to increase signal strength of blackberry 8700g

When I lose signal strength, which doesn't take much with this device - It can sat in the same position and go from GSM to EDGE through no movement. A sure fire way is to turn the device off and then back on. This always works for me.

Another trick I have discovered is by switching networks - options/ mobile network and changing network selection mode from automatic to manual and allowing to select available networks which can take a minute or so choosing a selection and then going back in and changing back to autmatic.

Losing signal intermittently every 1-5 minutes

This problem is probably due to weak signal strength from the cable to the television. Buy a signal amplifier for you cable line in and use another cable out of the amplifier output to your Television input signal source, This should bring up the signal strength for you.You could also have your cable company check the input signal strength to you house or apartment and see if the cable itself needs repairing or replacing. If this does not help with your problem , then you need to have your television tuners signal input circuit tested it may have weakened from age. This may be adjustable in the tuner box, but this is something for a service technician to determine. customer service number for Insignia is 1-877467-4289. Hope this helps you with your problem
