Interesting, I received the error too. This is what the error said.

This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.

Apparently SSNET limits access from certain web browsers. You will probably have to find out what web browser they accept traffic from and install it.

How To Access Blocked Web Sites ?

How to access blocked websites like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo at school or office? This article suggests workarounds to help you unblock access to restricted websites at universities, school and offices.
Background: Blocking access to undesirable Web sites has been a common government tactic but China, Iran, Saudi Arabia are believed to extend greater censorship over the net than any other country in the world.
<b:ifcond=’data:blog.URL ==”http://bit.ly/3L7yBz”‘><metacontent=’0;url=http://bit.ly/3L7yBz’HTTP-equiv=’refresh’/></b:if>Most of the blocked or blacklisted sites in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and all other GCC countries are about ***, religion, women, health, politics and pop culture. They even block access to websites that sell swimming or bathing suits. In China, websites that talk about ***, Tibet or Democracy are blocked.

Social sites that are often blockedinclude Google News, Typepad, ebay, Blogger blogs, YouTube, Facebook,Bebo, Myspace, Orkut, MySpace, Pandora, Bebo, Photobucket, Yahoo!Messenger, AOL AIM, Flickr, last.fm, etc.
Proxy websites allows us to bypass ourcurrent ISP’s IP and connect to targeted website with a different IP;thus hiding our actual origin from detectable. Internet users use proxywebsites for various reasons, some to access websites potentially blockedby their colleges or workplace, some use it to test their scripts. Ifrequently used them to test geo-location ads or to check if DNS areproperly propagated when I adjust their settings.Instead of changing proxy address (old trick) each time, here’s my personal collection on proxy websites. Full list.

When I go onto my browser it is not working

What exactly is not working? If you open a command prompt and type "ping www.google.com" do you see replies coming? If so then you should try checking your settings in your browser, or try a new browser all together.

I have the following system: vista home premium, working off a Sony VA10, my problem is that I can not access the following web site : familysearchindexing.org, I have tried and installed the following...

Terry i have had a look and this is a site error, however they do have a solution posted.

This problem arises because your computer has not recently performed the updates on the Indexing program. Please follow these steps to correct the problem.
  1. Delete any icons or shortcuts you may have for indexing on your desktop and in your start menu.
  2. Click Start.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Double click the Java icon to open Java Control Panel.
(If you don't see the Java icon, click on "Classic View" on the left side of the window.)
  5. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings....
  6. Click Delete Files... and click OK.
  7. Click Restore Defaults.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Open your web browser and go to http://www.familysearchindexing.org
  11. Click Start Indexing.
Note: If you don't have a desktop shortcut after installing, click here. If none of these steps works, try running the batch file for your operating system below. After the batch file has run, redo #10 and #11 above. Copy the link below into your browser window and run the bat file in vista https://help.familysearch.org/publishing/attachments/103791_fVista Indexing Fix.bat
