The memory card default for this phone is 1gb. If you have changed the memory card to a higher gb, this will affect the speed since there are too much applications stored and the speed capacity for the device will be affected.

My n70 music edition is very slow how to make it fast

Hello Sir\Ma,
Firstly, your phone may be affected with virus, probably some files or application you have on the phone memory is being affected with virus. and to remove the virus, it is either you connect your phone to a PC that has a strong or updated antivirus using a USB, then scan it for virus, but if no virus is detected, then the slowness is a result of overload.
If you have too much files like heavy music, videos, themes, applications, and picture of a higher bytes on the phone memory or memory card may as well slow down your phone especially if the memory card capacity or size is to higher for the phone to carry. So, you will need to either reduce those files or probably delete then. you can also delete some old message that are not needed so as to free space on the phone memory.

Nokia N70 automatically send messages which displays in outbox folder. It automatically takes number from my contact list & start sending message to that number whether their number is landline or...

Your phone is infected with HatiHati.A malware. It is a worm-like application that spreads via MMC cards. Once the worm copies itself to a new device, it starts sending SMS messages on its own. Here's the DIY cure:
Note: This will erase all data stored on your memory card and phone. Copy contacts from phone to SIM card. Make sure the battery is fully-charged before proceeding.
  1. Format your memory card.
  2. Navigate MENU > TOOLS > MEMORY.
  3. On the memory card menu press OPTIONS.
  4. Scroll to Format memory card.
  5. Once the formatting is complete, remove the memory card.
  6. On your phone dial *#7370#.
  7. Press Yes then enter your phone lock code. Default code is 12345.
  8. When the phone restarts, insert memory card the format it again.
Please let me know if you need further advice.

I keep having an error come up saying Messaging: Memory full close some applications. I have also had an error saying General: Memory full close some applications. I have no applications open can you...

clear your browser cache as well

set your messages in messaging - options- settings - other to 999 and e memory.

restore factory settings *#7780# default code is 12345 that might just might help you a bit and turn off and on your phone when you do all these things see if it helps any.

“Memory Full…Close some applications and try again” is a normal
message that usually comes on Nokia N70. It showed the memory used in the phone doesn’t have space anymore. But if the message still appears although the user already closed some applications it can be theproblem.
Someone who experience in this memory full problem said, an error message of memory full like above is appears each time he’s opened the
Camera. It also happens for a few times when he’s trying to open
messages, Gallery, or other applications. And then it will force to restart the phone.
Seems like it’s a RAM problem and might there are some applications unable to close completely. If your Nokia N70 phone has gone a start
menu button you can try to hold it down. This way will show you
everything that you have open and they can be closed easily so that
you can continue to take your photos.
So if it can resolve the problem you can reset/format by pressing *#7370#

My nokia n70 smartphone has virus in it

Boss...The best way would be to get a 32Mb memory card or any size for that matter and copy the virus removal tool onto the memory card (you would need a memory card reader that is connected to a PC and then just copy the file to the memory card),
This way you just load the memory card onto the phone,(or you may keep it on a phone with bluetooth and just send it to the phone that is infected with the virus).
no follow this..
  • open the Tools folder.
  • Open the File Mngr. program.
  • Locate the SymcMTRT.sis file and open it.
  • Click Yes when you see the following message:

Install Symantec Mobile Threats Removal Tool?

  • Choose Continue and then click OK.
  • Click Exit to exit the file manager.
  • Click Back to exit the Tools folder.
  • Open the SymcMTRT application... please do download symantic mobile threats removal tool.. its free..sofware.... enjoy ...Cheers!!

There might be too many applications running.
Or too many programs stored ie. Pics, Music, Contacts, Games etc...
Press Menu for 3 seconds and close the applications by pressing c, one by one. The phone needs a certain amount of memory to operate.
Otherwise try resetting to original phone settings, in Menu/Tools/Settings/Phone/General/Orig. phone settings.

N70 - Music player memory & Operator logo

    Hi there,

The N70 only has 22MB of built-in memory, and all incoming bluetooth files go directly to the onboard memory (inbox) before you can copy or move them to the memory card. Try freeing up some of the system memory by using the "move to memory card" option and then try to get your song again. :)

Regarding the other issue you are having, the oplogo should be located at the location below, and is always displayed. If you want nothing displayed there, you can replace the image with a solid color of the background of your choice by editing in photoshop or similar program.

    C:\system\apps\phones\oplogo\xxx_xx_xx.bmp

This is a 97x25 pixel file, and is named according to your Country Code, Network Code, and Subnet code. There may be several files located here, as they change when you 'roam' around, and you can edit any number of them to your liking.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions!
