This seems to be fault in the transport of the paper in the rollers. So if you have used any adhesive sticker printing, it is possible that some glue has got clogged into the rollers. If not there can be some jammed paper in the rollers or the mechanism thus showing the error signal.
So start this work only if you are mechanically able with the right tools.
Remove the covers to get access to the mechanism . Remove the motor drive assembly , the fitting of the motor to the mechanism. Once this is removed the rollers can be turned manually so that you will be able to feed a paper to see the progress of the movement while studying if there is any obstruction or damage to the paper.
There is a in-detect sensor, usually an opto-coupler , make sure this is not clogged or dirty as this IR detection feeds the signal to the processor for starting the motor drive feed.
Reassemble but make sure the rollers are aligned to be in equal gap to feed the paper without a side pull. Now you must print and see if the fault has changed. If not repeat the above work to confirm the area of obstruction.

Dear Friend
the paper jam in the machine is due to the rubber feeders present in the tray bin that pick the paper up and forward them.
so i suggest them to take a cloth and dip it in water and then (just like moisturized cloth) resin it completely that it do not form droplets that gets into the copier.
now switch OFF the machine and try wiping the rubber feeders with the cloth.
you will see a lot of darkness on the rubber feeders.
clean all the runner feeders with it and close the machine.
now your problem will be solved for paper jams.

thankyou

My SHarp calculator shows a "P E" message and quits working. Can this be shut off so I can use the calculator?

From a Sharp Printing Calculator manual

When the paper jams, the printer stops and the error symbol
"P.E" appears. Turn off the calculator. Tear off the paper tape
and then pull the remaining part of the paper forward and
completely out of the printer

What is mean by call sevices code H5-01 in sharp mx printer

H5-01 means repeated paper jams on the Sharp photocopiers.
Once the paper jam is cleared properly, you need to clear the error condition.

Put it in 'Copy' mode

Press on the keypad:
P * C * 14
Click execute and press 'Yes'
Then press the 'Copy' tab.
This will reset the menu and jam condition.

Machine diplays "paper jammed" with no paper in

Hello
This the method to clear paper jam, follow these steps:-
Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Turn off the printer.
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the ink cartridge. 5 If necessary, remove the ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though.
Replace the ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
Good Luck

I have a xerox xd 100 work center laser printer...i have a constant paper jam problem...the paper feeds and it does not go into the black gadget in the machine that gets hot....i have blown out the machine...

I have seen this more times than I can count. The problem you have is definately a broken fuser drive gear. The fuser unit is the black unit you refer to that gets hot. It has 2 fuser rollers that heat up and fix the toner onto the paper. One of the rollers has a drive gear on it that goes bad and breaks after a time. You just need to have someone replace the gear. I have included a link to the part that has a picture of the part. Also keep in mind that your machine is made by Sharp and is nearly identicle to a Sharp AL1000 model which may make it easier to find a local person that can install the part.
