there is moisture in there and it trips off the safety switch. some refridgerator points are not connected to the safety switch, this can dry out the moisture and this safety switch is there to save lives, don't touch the appliance when on and do at own risk because i am covering myself, you shouldn't have any problems but i have to cover myself. there is leakage from probably the element to earth which is the reason i sugest to try and dry it out. your element could be blown as well? you might need a sparkyto replace element

There should be 2 5/16th screws on the bottom panel in front. Then there are 2 more on bottom of top panel. Take off wires to door switch. Take off 4 screws to front bulkhead. Pull it off. Note how belt goes on. Take it off and pull drum.
I would first rotate drum by hand and see where noise is coming from. If inside one of the baffles in drum, you can easily lossen up screws to remove baffle to get things out.

SOURCE: dryer will not heat up Does run
It's probably the thermostats that are normally attatched to the element or it could be the element itself. They are nprmally placed in the rear of the appliance.
The thermostats will only cost a few pounds.

SOURCE: gas dryer won't dry clothes.
Hello- You most likely need an ignitor or thermal fuse if you are getting no heat at all. Depending on you exact model and if you are electrically handy and have a multi-meter you can test these components and replace them. If you are at all uncomfortable have a Tech come out, they should have the parts on hand and it should be a fairly easy fix. Hope this helps, best regards.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, we appreciate your post!
It appears you have a laundry center FEX831CS0 and that your dryer is not working. Can you provide me more specific details? Is your dryer not heating, not turning on, or not completing a cycle? For instance did you notice any strange functions or odd noises prior to this issue? With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you - Matt
