Hi..

email clients like Outlook doesn't have a sign out button. In fact, it does not need one. When we closes all windows of outlook , it will automatically signs out the user from server.

If we want to force to sign out from email server without closing the outlook, there is a way. What we do is to tell Outlook to go Off-line.
You can find this option in File Menu.

  1. Go to File Menu

  2. Select Offline
this will cause Outlook to sign out and disconnect from using internet.
So if you want to connect to email server, Make Outlook to go on-line

  1. Go to File Menu

  2. Select Online

Microsoft office outlook has stopped working

Create a new profile for yourself in MS Outlook and configure your e-mail account in it. Hopefully this should resolve the problem.

Are you using any personal folders (.pst) in Outlook?

If the asnwer is yes; then were these personal folders created in Outlook 2003 or some earlier version of Outlook? In any case, if the older type personal folders are large in size, these can cause Outlook 2003 to stop responding or freezing.

Close MS Outlook; right click on the MS Outlook icon showing in the startup programs bar and choose properties; choose 'Show Profiles'; choose copy profile and then choose this new profile in the 'Always use this profile' option.

MS Outlook should now hopefully work fine.

I have the microsoft outlook 2007 cd, but I need a product key?

Do you have a valid retail copy of MS Office ??? if yes then give me the part number on the inner circle of Office disc ( Starts with X12 ), I will help you, but if you are expecting a PK Key without having a retail copy of MS Office then I AM SORRY.
An alternative for Outlook is Outlook Express/Windows Mail which comes pre installed and is part of the windows XP/Vista Operating system.

Outlook Express spell check

Outlook express does not have its own spell checker, it relies on the one installed with MS Office. Unfortunately the one that comes with Office 2007 is no longer compatible with Outlook. At present there is no solution except to install third party spell ckeck software.

Microsoft covers this here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

You do not want to download the Free Outlook 2003 (any site offering free outlook 2003 is a scam/spyware filled) You can download Outlook free as a trial from Microsoft. Do not trust and Outlook or other Office software from any place besides Microsoft.. You want to download Microsoft Office 2007 Pro which is paid software. MS Outlook 2003 is not free.
