SOURCE: bobbin case case keeps jamming

I am having somewhat the same problem with the exception that my needle did not break. I've cleaned and oil, but the bobbin case and projection positioned spring is not communicating to allow sewing to continue. The thread keeps jamming and the bobbin raises up the plate. So, what else am I to do?

SOURCE: Bobbin case keeps breaking after minimal use

Nope...it didn't work...I got the new case...and still keeps breaking needles...ready to throw the machine right out the window...3 floors up...I think they sent the wrong case...and on e-bay...another vendor wants 36.95 for a case...don't think it is worth this...only paid 150.00 for the machine at Walmart...personally...plastic parts are terrible...I still have a Singer from 1953...and it still sews like a charm...but just goes front and back...no frills...but the oldies are better!

I had this problem when I first bought my machine. I took it in and they told me it was a recall problem. All the machines were having the same problem. They fixed it and I have not had the problem since. I bought mine at a Joanne fabrics. Hope this helps.

Keep the thread from collecting on the arm that holds the bobbin case in? My Brother LB-6800 sews quilts, and embroiders great until yesterday, The thread wraps around this small arm every time now.

Try taking the bobbin case out and re-insert. It sounds like the case that holds the bobbin is not inserted correctly. You might also try checking to be sure that the needle is inserted properly. Sometimes the needle gets loose and drops down too low. unscrew, push the needle up as far as it will go, then tighten the screw.

I have a brother SE-400 and it sounds like the bobbin case is grinding.

I have a Brothers SE400..while free motion quilting, it sounds like the bobbin case is bouncing around. A lot of clanking noises. Does anyone know what I need to do to adjust this problem? It also seems like my stitches are very small and tight. I do see the top thread overlapping with my bobbin thread on the backing...what do I need to do to adjust this problem

E6. Motor locked up because the thread is tangled. I have re-threaded machine and bobbin; thread still tangles after 2 or 3 stitches. HELP!

In my Brother CE-4000, it appears as though the feed dogs (which you can change to a higher position or a lower position) are allowing the bobbin case to spin all the way around and then the needle hits the bobbin case. When the feed dogs are in the lowest position, the bobbin case does not spin all the way around when the needle moves up and down (and therefore the needle does not get stuck in the bobbin case. I am wondering if this is a problem with the feed dogs/case?

My needle keeps hitting the bobbin casing...have switched needles incase bent....have tried moving needle position..still hitting casing

Your timing is off. There should be a ruber belt behind your hand wheel, if you take off the case around it; you should be able to adjust your timing of the bobbin casing.

Top thread keeps getting wrapped around bobbin case on LX-3125

You should hold the end of the thread coming through the needle until the thread has grasped the bobbin thread.

Bernina 180 Bobbin case spinning

Its called the bobbin stopper. Pop off your needle plate by pressing on the marked corner. In the back on the left you will see a small allen screw which must have come loose. Position the bobbin stopper in place and tighten that screw. If it already is tight, loosen it and reposition the bobbin stopper in the notch and tighten it back up.
Good luck.
