My card reader doesnt work, what driver should i download?

Goto DeviceManager and check whether the media card reader is installed or under OtherDevices listed as unknown. Make sure u are connected to the internet and right click to update the driver automaticallay. If not found, then you have to download it from the manufacutrer's website.

Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Card Reader or SD Card Reader drivers.

select the card reader driver on the windows Vista line ..and download ..extract and install ..in 80 cases from 100 the driver fits for windows7 ..its the only way cause it is missing the driver thats the problem ...if it wont work ...you will have to get a cheap external usb reader for the sd card ..to use in the computer ..cause they do not have drivers in this model for windows 7 yet ..

Have you tried to reinstall (vista) drivers for your camera?

Unless it is under warranty your best/cheapest bet is to get an external USB card reader. I recently purchased an off-the-wall USB card reader from Radio Shack for $12.99. It serves its purpose and I can take it with me anywhere.

I seem to have wasted $26 on Digital CR-75P multi card reader cause it doesnt read anything and the drivers for it does not work... I have to return this **** and get my money back if I dont get this fixed!!!

this problem bugged me for weeks!! finally figured it out today
download the sd card reader drivers from toshiba (not a 3rd party site) boot into safe mode delete all the sd card reader drivers currently installed install the downloaded driver reboot into normal mode
let the computer go about its business installing the driver, then it should work.

have you downloaded the correct driver and version?install the correct driver.if still it doesnt work,replace it.

hmmm...those can be seen in control panel, system device manager, to see if they are clear..try that first..

Go to your computer's administrative tools and find services. Check the status your camera software. Status should read automatic. I had a software conflict that turned my camera window off.
