Adjusting pcoutput signal with windows xp

The only 'output signal' you are going to adjust is the video signal.
The only adjustment there is the Screen Resolution, and Screen Quality.

Right-click on an empty area of your desktop screen.
Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the drop-down list.

In the Display Properties window left-click on the Settings tab.
In the middle of the window, and on the left side, is Screen resolution.

Move the Slider to the left to Decrease the resolution.
To the right to Increase the resolution.

(The Slider is the arrow that has a green tip on the top and bottom. Sits on the line in-between Lee and More.

Put your mouse cursor on it, press the left mouse button down, and hold it down.
Now drag the Slider back and forth, by moving the mouse left to right. Set it to the Screen resolution that you desire)

Color quality:
It should state - Highest (32 bit)
If not click on the blue down arrow to the right.
Then click on Highest (32 bit)

After you set the Screen resolution and/or the Color quality, be SURE to go below, and click on Apply.

Then click on OK.

The above not what you had in mind? Post back in a Comment.

How to stop my G4 Mac desktop screen from jumping around when mousing? My screen moves left and right, or up and down when mousing around.

I think what you have done is accidently magnified your screen slightly. To correct this hold down your ctrl key on your keyboard and move your finger on the mouse scroll button back. Hope this helps.

My Toshiba A665-S6086 is having 2 problems: 1. Everytime I started my laptop today, it would load up, and then it would freeze. My mouse moves, and I can see everything (desktop, taskbar, etc.) When I move...

In safe mode- go to event viewer, and look for the fault- it sometimes is a windows update not installing properly, or, it could be a graphics driver problem. The yellow symbol similar to a statement, could give a clue, or, other shown faulting code.
Right click computer, left click manage, and then left lick on event viewer, and let us know what it says.

My pc desktop is moving left & right with cursor of mouse

It sounds like you have zoomed in on your screen image, so your screen is showing you only a portion of your desktop. In this situation, you move to a different region of the screen using the mouse cursor, as you describe.
You can zoom back out by holding down the CONTROL key while rolling your mouse's scroll wheel (or scrolling with two fingers on the surface of an Apple Magic Mouse).
