Thank you so much, just spent 20 mins watching BS youtube videos and no one explained on a fx-9750GII calculator, only the TI-83 one :). Made my day!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: How to find zeros of

First you can use the Solver found under the EQUA menu.

You can also graph the function, then use the G-Solve feature.
See the sequence of screen captures below.
Press Menu then Graph to open the Y= editor.
Type in the expression (without the =0 part) and

Press the F6: DRAW tab.

While the graph is being displayed press the F5:G-Solve key.

In Gsolve screen press F1: root.

The calculator hopefully finds a root (here at the left)

Press the right arrow to find the root at the right.

I will not guarantee that it will always be this easy.

### I do not know what a range is and where to find it on a Casio FX 9750GII Calculator

In statistics, the range of 1-var a data set is the difference between the largest value and the smallest. R=Xmax-Xmin
In functions: the range of a function is the interval (or the Union of intervals) of the real line where the dependent variable takes it values.
Ex: sin(x). Whatever the value of the independent variable x, the values of the function sin(x) are in the closed interval [-1,1]. The range of the functions sin(x), and cos(x) is [-1,1].
No use of a calculator for finding the range of functions.

Turn calculator ON
If you see no icons, press Menu
Press 3 (Graph) draw your function. (more on that later).
If the first line of the display show Graph Func : Y= you should be able to draw your function.
If it says anything else, press F3 TYPE to select the graph type and select functional by pressing F1 key Y=.

### How do i use the fx-300es to graph

Sorry but you cannot do that. This is not a graphing calculator. However you can generate a table of values for your function (MODE TABLE) and use it to graph the curve by hand (pencil and paper).

If you need a Casio graphing calculator, one of the cheaper ones is the Casio FX-9750GII. Equivalent Texas Instruments calculators are the TI83PLUS/TI84PLUS.
