Try unplugging it, waiting a few seconds, then plugging it back in.

If that doesn't work, if you know how to access the administrative interface on the device, see if the Wifi was somehow turned off and turn it back on. The instruction manual for the router will include instructions to do that and you can find it here:

http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=f5d8236-4&aid=14394&scid=942

Lastly, if nothing else works, you can try resetting the router. Usually, there is a tiny hole on the back or underside of the router that you depress with a paperclip that will cause the router to reset to factory settings. Again, instructions for this will be listed in the manual.

Try unplugging the router and waiting a minute and plugging it back in. Also, most Belkins have an easy way to upgrade the router. Look at updating the firmware on it!

Wireless Internet stopped working. Can't reconnect.

If restarting the router and restarting computer did not work (unplug both power cables), then you need to log into the router and check network settings.

To log into router type the router IP on internet explore bar, then enter user id and password.
You find details on how to do this, IP and passwords listed on the owner manual.

If wireless security settings on router are fine, then you can reset router to factory default using the pinhole switch. You will need to enter all your broadband settings to have the router working afterward.

I unplugged the cable connected to my desktop and the wireless function stopped working

You must always have a 'host' adaptor whether you want a LAN or a WAN. Go to your configuration utility or control panel via your Run command to set or view your options. Steve Medley

No internet signal from router

To isolate the concern, it would be better to test the non working computer to the modem. If it works, that means there is a problem with the router and if it isn't then it is a problem with the pc..

If the computer works fine on the modem, you can try the following to check if the router works fine:

1. The modem should be connected to the router's WAN/Internet port.
2. The computers should be hard wired to the router's numbered port
3. On the router's setup page, go to the Status tab and check if the Internet IP address and the DNS are populated. If not, that means the router is not functioning correctly.
4. Go to the wireless tab and make sure that the SSID is customized. Make sure that the wireless computer is connecting to the said SSID.

If those had been checked and it still does not work, you can try updating the firmware of the router, reset and reconfigure it.

However, if the computer does not work on the modem. You may need to have it checked.

Internet signal stops at router

I would start by upgrading the firmware on the router... even if its the same version just do it again something in the software could be corrupt. Now make sure your getting the firmware for the exact router model #. After upgrade before you plug the router in reset the modem... then re-run the wireless network wizard. Do all of this and let me know if your wireless works now and we'll move to the next step.
