Question about Computers & Internet
There's 3 basic ways to fix forgotten Windows passwords:
1. If you have another account with administrator access, log into that account, go to the control panel, select users/groups, find your user and reset the password.
2. If you don't have an administrator account, you can reset your password with a live cd. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/14369/change-or-reset-windows-password-from-a-ubuntu-live-cd/ has instructions on how to do this. It can be a bit of a pain if you haven't done this before.
3. A lot of local tech support shops will do #2 for you usually pretty cheaply.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.
