It sounds to me like you are not getting the top threaded right Try this.
Thread the top all the way to the needle but don't thread the needle. Then pull on the thread and lift the presser food up and down. You should have no tension when the presser foot is up and tension when the presser foot is down. If this is not the case you did not get the thread in the tension unit or your upper tension unit needs so cleaing adjusting.
If that does not fix your problem try cleaning out your bobbin/hook/race area.
If that does not help post a more detailed description of the problem.

How to fix a bobbin case that is jammed in place by a piece of thread--case will not come out.

Very gentle persuasion with small (embroidery) scissors to cut the thread then tease i out per strand so you dont do damage to the timing mechanism. Often happens if you wind a bobbin and leave the needle threaded without locking the needle which should be done when yo wind a bobbin. If you send me the make and model Of the achine as long as it is not a computerised one, I may be able to suggest an alternative.

Sewing machine jam

If you mean that the needle has jammed with a build up of thread, then the only option is to cut the thread, raise the needle, if you can, and remove ALL pieces of cut thread. Sometimes if it's really jammed, you need to use a sharp knife, horizontally, to slice through the jammed thread.
The bobbin should be removed after this, and ALL traces of thread removed from all areas. Then, re-thread, re-insert bobbin, and try again.

Deco Bernina bobbin jammed, now bobbin won't work

remove bobbin and reinsert. Re thread needle . Make sure the right size of needle for the material. And check that there is not a wad of fluff under the feed dogs.

Messages about safe device activated & press the needle position button

The noise is because the machine is trying to raise or lower a needle and can't move. Several things to check. Did the needle break and jam in the bottom thread? Is the needle bent or jam? Did the thread jam in the bobbin area? I had a 'knot' of thread build up on the bottom and it hooked itself into the metal clip on the bobbin so that the needle couldn't raise. If thread jams in the bottom carefully cut the threads until you can free the hoop and material. Then check to make sure all pieces of thread and fuzz has been removed in the bobbin case. If it happens again check to see if the bobbin case or the throat plate is scratched or bent. If you are stitching Free Standing Lace on this machine or a piece with over 20,000 stitches I recommend starting with a new full bobbin and a new needle. As you get toward the bottom of the bobbin, thread seems to have a high likelihood of tangling or looping.

Bottom thread of sewing machine jams up

Try turning the bobbin around. Some bobbins should turn clockwise, some counter clockwise. What you described is what my Kenmore and Brother machines do when the bobbin is in incorrectly.

Bobbin thread jam

You can remove the thread jam by moving the hand wheel back and forth. Remove the bobbin case and bobbin.Unthread and remove the needle.Rock the handwheel back and forth. Don't be rough but you will need to exert a little pressure to get this thread to come out. What you are doing is cutting the thread which is locked inside the hook race.

Your problem is a simple one.Jamming is due to thread getting trapped on the bobbin holder. All you need to do is to unscrew two screws holding the the bobbin holder clean the same and reasseble it.your problem will be solved.N.Govindarajan
