Look and see if you have a headset
icon. Sometimes things can get in the headset plug and it thinks you
are connected to a headset. If there is no headset plug, check the
bluetooth settings. Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears You are sure the mute switch (at the side above the volume buttons) is not turned on? Also in Settings > Sounds > Change with Buttons ON?

That has been happening to me. All you have to do is go to
settings>Wifi>Switch off>Switch back on>Choose your
network[enter password if necessary]>press the home button. That
should do it, but if it stops responding just restart your iPod by
holding the Sleep+Home buttons for about 10 seconds.

Go to menu,and then go to web. There u go to <web settings>. THere u press -- key and u will find many more things such as home page, port, domain and so on nd so forth. click to home page and write ur connection provider's home page , and then go to port write either 9201 or 8080. then chk out wheather the domain name system(dns) is correct or not and then leave every other option vacant . then click<Done> and set it as default browser and then come to home screen and then switch off the phone and remove the battery and SIM and then reinsert if .Then on ur phone . After 1 hr to 1 day(depends on ur connection provider) u open ur browser and u will see that the thing gets done
