The card is locked and i cant take pictures

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My camera did not come with a usb cord so how can i get the pictures off of my samsung l100? With my memory card? If so, how would i do that?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

When taking a shot camera reads card lock

I guess that perhaps your memory card is an SD type. These cards have a little switch on the card that can write protect or "lock" it. Take the card out of the camera and check this switch. To unlock it, it should be moved towards the edge of the card which has the electrical contacts.

Card error on L100 samsung camera, help please.

copy all the pictures/files saved in your memory card to your PC then format the card, you can format the card by going to MENU > SET UP > FORMAT

make sure that you have a copy of the files in the memory card because formatting the memory card will erase all the files that are saved in it.

take out the memory card look for a lock tab at the side of it, push it up and insert the memory card back. that should do it

card lock is a feature of the memory card so that you won't accidentally erase the files that are saved in it

hope this helps
