Question about Microsoft LifeChat ZX-6000 Wireless Headset
I just bought a zx-6000 and installed its software in my laptop. my intention was primarily to listen music from my laptop as i walkaround in the house, during study without bothering others. is this possible? or is zx-6000 just limited for windows live only?
Yea, you can, you need to co to control panel and under sounds set the 360 head set control which will be your microsoft wireless control to default....but the sound is crapy..it seems that the manufacturers never designed this device for that kinda sound, only those who are talking to you with another mic...so i suggest sticking with your speakers or a good set of ear phones

You can use the ZX-6000 as a generic headset that can play & record audio. It is not restricted to MS Messenger, Live, or any other software.

As far as i can work out you will have to load live to get the drivers, unless you look up the drivers on the web

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
