If this is happening when the finger valve is closed, there is a leak either in the rubber tubing or the inflation bulb. Try putting soapy water on the tubing and then on the bulb. Squeeze the bulb with just your thumb and forefinger, so that you can see any air bubbles. If the leak is in the rubber tubing, you may be able to repair it with a couple of laps of vinyl tape. If the bulb is leaking, that will have to be replaced.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

What is an electric air massage chair?

The air massage is a relatively new method of massage that is offered in electric massage chairs. Inside the padding of the chair are air bags that inflate and deflate on certain areas of your body, usually on your arms or legs. The inflation makes a squeezing effect, which can feel very nice and can help to improve circulation to the area being squeezed.

How do I know how much air to put in my exercise ball when I fill it?

The most precise way to know that you have enough air in your exercise ball is to measure the height of the ball once it has been inflated. The easiest way to accomplish this is to make a very small pencil mark on the wall (equivalent to that of the proper size of your ball), then inflate your ball with the pump provided until the top of the ball matches the mark on the wall.

How to pump up a basketball?

To watch an instructional video follow this link or read the instructions below.
To pump up your basketball you will need a ball needle and a hand pump. Insert needle and pump the ball to the specs listed below.According to NBA rules, the pressure inside a basketball must be between 7.5 and 8.5 lbs. You can use this as a guide for your own basketball pressure. Another simple test is to drop the ball from shoulder height. It should bounce to a height approximately even with your hips. When inflating the ball, use a small pump and pressure gauge. Avoid using high pressure pumps made for cars and motorcycle tires, which can easily over-inflate and damage your ball.

I have the BS-1D Serfas bicycle pump - I need a basic instruction manual as I am having difficulty pumping air into my tire- I think I am not locking into the valve correctly.

I can't find the manual for this one, but most pumps lof this kind work like this:

1) push down over the valve (using the large hole for large valves(Shraeder valves like car ones) and small hole for Presta valves (little screw in kind -must be unscrewed to pump). You might have to be fairly firm with it
2) raise the thumb lock lever (opposite the valve) so it points up
3) pump till inflated
4) release thumb lock
5) pull off pump

If that doesn't work, then your pump may be defective.

How to inflate the shake & monkey rattle ball?

Look for a plug on the plastic ball, it may be under the monkey fabric cover. Pull plug and blow air in just like inflating a small beach ball. Re-insert plug to seal.

Discovery Kids Inflatable Sprinkler Globe. Problem: We can't deflate ours! I no longer have the instructions (and can't find them online). You'd think you could just open up the plastic tab and maybe...

When squeezing the valve, is the flap at the bottom of the valve opening? This is usually the cause of this problem. Sometimes these valves need to be pinched while pressure is applied to the item to force the air out.
Does your air pump also vacuum? Many electric air pumps have 2 attach points - air 'out' to inflate and air 'in' to deflate. For largef items, this is much more efficient for deflating.

How do you inflate a Bicycle tire with the small portable pump? the air is coming from the needle to inflate balls and not from the nozzle. It is a Schwinn small portable bicycle pump.

Usually, the needle used to inflate balls is an attachment to the pump. Is there a lever near the fitting the needle comes out of? Moving the lever 90 degrees from its current position should allow you to pull the needle attachment out. The hole the needle came out of is where the valve stem from your tire goes to pump the tire up. Jam the stem in the hole, crank the lever back to lock it in and pump away. Unlock the lever to release the stem when the tire's inflated and you're golden.

the ball will seal it self

Bought a newwprosport fitness ball from Target. no instructions

You just use a pump with a pointy nozzle, even an air compressor with the tip for inflating rafts and inflatables. You should fill it with enough air so that it is firm when you sit on it, but it should still have about 2" of give. (knee's @ a 90 degree angle when sitting on the ball). Hope this helps!
