Do you mean the expander wedge in the stem? Is it lost or you just don't know where it is?

If you removed the stem yourself and you unscrewed it too far and removed the screw the wedge likely just fell inside the steerer tube.

Oh, apologies for that erroneous link. I'm having some trouble with my cut n paste sometimes.

Read this. It explains everything about stems.

If it really is lost you'll have to take the stem and screw to a Bike Shop and see if they have a wedge in their junk box somewhere. Threads and angles may vary from one to the next.

Dynacraft Girls 16" Barbie Bike pedals don't move

The problem could be the coaster brake hub, it could be that the cranks are not properly adjusted, or any number of other weird things. My advise--take it to a bike shop. If they're kind, they should be able to get things moving in the proper circular motion quickly for a reasonable charge. If they're not kind, they'll laugh at the bike first, but they will still help.

The very first time my daughter rode her new 14" Dynacraft Barbie bicycle, one of the tassels came out of the side of the handlebar when she laid it down. How can I get a replacement tassel/tassels?...

I went to a five and dime and bought streamers for my kids, they made their own and had a blast doing it,, you can use a ziptie, once they add all the colors they want, and stuff that in the handlebar grip hole to mount them,

16 inch bicycle tire is flat. Need replacement, where to buy?

Call Dynacraft (bike maker) at 1-800-551-0032. My daughter's rear tire was flat and they sent out a new tube for free. She had the bike for only about 4 months. They also sent out a new rear tire as bearing/coaster brake assembly was make noises. The only problem is her original rim was purple and they sent out a silver colored rim as they don't have purple replacement part. I also had to install the tube and tire on the new rim. They only send replacement parts not assemblies.

How do I attach the hadlebars?

the bars go throuhg the hole down into the front wheel. on the bar where the the neck goes into the frame there is a hole in that a long bolt goes in that, then the wedge shape nut goes on the long that runs down the neck into the frame that the front is in. make sure that the wedge bolt will line up with wedge on bar. place through frame into wheel so the neck bottem out get your ratach and start cranking as it get tight line up neck w/ tire and lock it down pull up to check turn head just in case

Fork is too narrow for front wheel

One solution, is a large, wedge shaped piece of wood.
Try hammering that into, or the forks onto it.
That should open them up, without damaging the finish.
Good luck with that.

Which way do the front brake pads face, out or in?

Yes, The front brakes are designed for the torque of stopping to "Pull" away from the neck. if you look at a bigger bike it has brackets to help support it in the rear brakes as it rests on the frame while stopping...the front brakes do not have these brackets. However if you DID install these same brackets on the front and had them mounted backwards then i see no harm. granted its just a little barbie bike. but still...you want your daughter safe at all costs.

Hope this helps...post a comment if you need me to explain or clarify anything .
