Really, take it to a bike sop and let them look at it. Hub and rim brand and style plus lacing pattern determine the size.

How to lace a bike rim

First, you need to know
1) the type and size of hub, and
2) size and type of rim. Then you need to know
3) the type of spoke lacing pattern that you want to use in your wheel.

From this information you can determine what type and length of spokes are needed for your project. Most bike shops have access to books and software that can determine your spoke lengths.

Next is how to lace.. will add that later

Can you tell me what kind/size spokes to buy for rear wheel. thanks

I'm guessing you really don't know much about wheel building, truing and tensioning if you have to ask. And you don't have the tools either.

Any bike shop could assist you in determining and ordering the correct gauge and length of spokes you need. Or you could measure them yourself. I'm pretty sure the bike doesn't have boutique spokes on it.

Bicycle Model Trek 7.1 fx Wheel question I need the spoke size that this model supports and the nipple size

Your best bet it to pop a wheel off and head on down to the local bike shop. If you are planning on building a new wheel, make sure you know what your getting into. It isn't just screw the spokes in and go, you need some very expencive specialized tools.
