It sounds like you have a computer that can dual boot - meaning you can choose whether you can use Windows XP or Windows 7. As for your audio issue, I tried looking up the drivers for your computer with no luck. Usually, Windows 7 automatically grabs those drivers for you via Windows Updates. Check Windows Updates under the optional section and you will most likely see driver downloads - such as your audio driver.
Check off the box next to it, and choose to install. Windows will do the rest, and when it is done, it may prompt you to restart your computer. If this does not resolve the issue, I suggest you contact Lenovo for further support so you can get the right audio driver.

Do you mean you are running a dual boot system? Meaning that you can boot to Win7 or Win XP? If you boot in XP then you will have to manually have to install sound card driver. Really need more details to be able to help you better.

Alps md driver error

Hi,

For the ALPS printers, make sure you are using Windows XP SP2 or older. There are no Win 7 drivers and there can be problems with a Win XP SP3. Join the Yahoo ALPS group. In the files section they have a full description of the problem along with a work around. It usually is a conflict with the bi-directional communication and the LPT port. The LPT port needs to be motherboard based - not an add-on card.

I hope this works.

My audio device is not working. so i want to sound driver for it.

Hello,
You can download all the drivers you need for Lenovo 3000 Y410 Laptop from the below link
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-68104.html#audio

Just scroll down the page for Audio drivers for both win XP and Vista, click on the blue version number to download the one you want.

Note : Incase you have win XP,some people has issues installing the xp driver with sp3 installed, the driver seems to work with only sp1 and sp2.So if u have SP3 and unable to install xp driver, do one of the following.
1) Uninstall SP3 and install SP2 and then try installing the driver for XP
2) Download Vista driver and install it with windows compatibility mode set to XP SP2.
