  1. First, you could try resetting the AVH-P5750. With the ignition switch Off, press the Reset button on the Right side of the device, above the Navigation Arrows. If you use Pioneer Vehicle Dynamics Processor, be sure ACC OFF is selected before you RESET to avoid further problems.
  2. To perform a Factory Reset, press the Reset button with the ignition to ACC ON.
  3. Check to make sure your Parking Brake wire is connected properly.
  4. If none of the above fix the problem, you may have a faulty LCD screen, cable, or board. It is recommended to not disassemble or modify this unit, as there are high-voltage components inside which may cause an electric shock. Consult your dealer or the nearest authorized Pioneer Service Station for internal inspection, adjustments or repairs.
  5. If you can find a spare AVH-P5750, you could try and swap parts to make a working AVH-P5750. I don't think Pioneer sells parts for this device, but you can contact them directly to find out: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Support
  6. Here is your manual: http://www.pioneer-latin.com/downloads/crb2055a.pdf

Hi, first hope you connected it properly?..troubleshoot all cables and see what happens..

Below iis how you can connect pioneer AVH-P5750 properly..

Instruction:

How to Install a pioneer AVH-P5750

The pioneer AVH-P5750 DVD is an in-dash aftermarket car stereo featuring a CD/DVD player, touch screen, 6.5-inch display and an iPod connection. The screen enables car owners to watch DVD movies in their car when parked. The connection of the wiring during installation is crucial to ensure that the unit works correctly with all of the car appliances and controls, such as the parking brake and mobile phone.

things you'll need:

* Adjustable wrench
* Face plate adapter
* Wire harness adapter

Disconnect the negative battery terminal of the car battery, using an adjustable wrench.

Prepare the dashboard housing of the car. Slide the radio installation sleeve provided with the AVH-P5750 DVD into the dashboard housing. Bend the tabs on the sleeve to secure it in place. Attach any necessary installation kits for the vehicle.

Connect the wire harness. This contains the power connection and the wires enabling the stereo to work with the car functions, such as reverse indicator, parking break and mobile phone connection. Ensure these connections are wired into the car's harness. Connect the wire harness to the wire harness adapter. Push the connections together until they click into place. Connect the other end of the wire harness adapter to the wire harness of the stereo. Plug in the black radio antenna cable to the radio antenna port on the rear-right side of the stereo (Some cars, such as those by General Motors, require an antenna adapter).

Slide the stereo into the dashboard housing until it clicks into the installation sleeve. Reconnect the car battery. Turn on the stereo to test the installation. Make sure that the DVD screen works only in park mode, and check the other features of the stereo.

Tips & Warnings

The Pioneer AVH-P5750 DVD will only work with cars that have an ACC position on the ignition switch.

STUCK ON BLACK SCREEN SAYING OBJECTS MAY BE IN REVERSE TRYED RESETTING STILL THE SAME UNHOOKED VIOLET WIRE STILL THE SAME

I have a Pioneer AVH-P4900, I bought the video bypass for mine, once I did that I had the same problem. I tried pressing buttons, and the V.Adj button returned the screen back to my normal screen playing my disc. It might happen again, but I think it's it's way of a "screensaver ". Hope this helps to patch this up for ya.
