No,
all you need is a cable that will conect your monitor to your tv.

I need the drivers for my Insignia 19" LCD TV 720p (model NS-LCD19-09). Can you assist?

Hi There are no specific drivers for the TV / monitor. If you are planning to use it with a PC , please check the drivers of the graphics card. (right click anywhere on the desktop , go to properties and settings there you should see the second monitor if the pc is able to connect to the TV otherwise you would need to use a standard driver
please specify what you are planning to do , for example PC make , operating system what connection etc

I have no sound on my Prinston VL1918 monitor now that I hooked it up to my new ASUS computer. Do I need to download a driver?

No sound driver is needed for the built-in monitor power speakers (just think of it as a Powered PC speakers built-into the monitor). Are your PC sound card and driver and setting OK? Try feeding the monitor with sound source from MP3 player to see if it works OK, To repair the amplifiers in the monitor will not be worth it since you can spend the same amount for a good set of Powered PC speakers instead with much better sounding.

use your VGA or a DVI input and set your tv to pc mode thru the tvs menu. you should not have to instal any drivers at all. your tv as a monitor will display all text and images as a monitor the same as it does as a tv

I hooked my new aoc 20' monitor up to our emachine and cant find my cd i got with the monitor to download. the monitor will go out on me few times during the day for no reason so am thinkin i need to...

You do not need the driver for the monitor if you are running XP, if you are running Windows 7 you will need the driver so you can adjust the resolution to the native resolution of the monitor.
Lack of driver for the monitor will not cause the black out problem.
You should try this monitor with another PC first to make sure it is not video card problem in the PC.
Is this monitor still under warranty.

Is there a way to get this monitor to work with windows xp??

It should have no problem as long as you have correct driver for your PC Video card, there is no need to install the monitor drivers. My PC for testing monitor is running XP as well.

Monitor receives no signal from PC. Connections tested : OK

You should not need a driver for that. If there is a plug on the laptop to connect the monitor, simply plug it and reboot.
You probably need to use some key combination to activate the external display. Mostly "Fn" + one of the function keys (it will have a monitor shown on it).

NEW DRIVER FOR LCD / TV MONITOR?

Yes, you may be able to google it or download one from the company's website that made the monitor. Sometimes the monitor is not compatible with the computer until you download a driver. I'm assuming you're using A/V cables when using the TV with the computer. Often computers do not display well with a/v connections until you install a driver. Hope this helps.

TV as PC Monotir

Most widescreen TVs use a resolution of 1366 x 768, try that and see if it works.

You will never get as good an image on a large TV as you will get on a dedicated monitor. I have never looked, but you can search the internet and see if you an find a driver for using a widescreen TV as a monitor, you never know what you might come across.

you need one of those tv tuner add-in cards for the pc. these are usually pci type of card that goes inside your pc. If you dont want to open up your pc, there are also usb type/model of these tv tuner. they also come with their own drivers and tv viewing software
