Question about Ovens

Open Question

I have a C900SS savoir-faire oven but the previous owners did not leave the oven manual. I am doing my best at guessing at the correct settings but would really appreciate a manual to refer to. Regards Kim

SOURCE: lost manual for eaton/viking model # RS3025W-1.

set both knobs the temperature and the bake broil to the lock mode, set the time such as 3 to 4 hrs I think and hit start. You should then here the oven begin to lock.

SOURCE: I have moved into a home that has a Modena oven.

I think it's the thermostat.

The thermostat turns the oven on until it reaches a desired temperature, then once the temperature is reached it turns the oven element off thus allowing the dish to slowly heat up. Which in turn gives you a well cooked, middle included, dish.

I would say the thermostat needs to be replaced, it should not cost a whole lot. You may need to get it installed though.

Take care and Happy Cooking!

Oven won't come on?

Check that the timer is set correctly as often owners don't set them right; I'm guessing you changed the element without turning off the breaker. If this is an oven with a digital display, turn the breaker off and back on, this might reset the board.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I need opperating manual for a Savoir Fair oven model # W 600 Black

Thank you for choosing FixYa today for your online technical support needs.

Unfortunately I have been unable to locate any online resources pertaining to that particular model of Savoir Fair appliance. As such, I am unable to provide you with the instruction manual / documentation you requested. I'm afraid your only recourse is to contact your local dealer where you purchased the unit and see if they can get you a hard copy of that manual since that information is simply not available anywhere online.

Seeing as I did not provide the information you requested, you are welcome to request a refund of your service fee. Simply leave the the service unrated and then click on the REQUEST A REFUND button when you see it. Your purchase fee will then be refunded automatically to your credit card.

I apologize again for not be able to help you with this request, but sometimes information on the lesser known brands is simply not made available on the internet, unlike mostt of the major name brands which are usually well supported online.

Thank you again for your patronage, I hope that we can assist you better next time.

Good luck and take care.

I have an older model double oven by Kenmore - probably 15-18 years old. I was baking bread in foil three days ago and the oven set on bake 325 degrees. (I had been cooking a roast in it for several hours...

the oven may have locked in consequence of the self cleaning cycle.

After unplugging, allow the oven cooling down for few hours.

If the is still locked, then the high temperature generated in self cleaning cycle may have damaged temp probe, door latch, or electronic control.

Parts must be tested to discover the fault.

Call Kenmore at the number listed on the owners manual.

Stop time knob needs to be out; you set it for timed bake. I cannot see your reply due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Pf code on frigidaire professional series free standing range

"PF" indicates the electronic control detected a Power Failure.
This could have been caused a brief power outage OR may be an indication that the connections to the oven, either at the stove or at the plug are loose.
