Question about Siemens Washing Machines

Open Question

Our Siemens IQ 1430 is registering a 'blocked pump', but I am unable to twist open the cover on the pump acces shaft (bottom right). This cover will not turn the full 90 degrees to the left and so I cannot get it open. I have read elsewhere (on a german website) that this is due to an obstruction in the pump and that you have to take off the whol front of the machine in order to get into the access shaft from the back. Unfortunately my german is good enough to understand this but not good enough to understand the instructions for taking off the front of the machine. I would be very grateful if anyone out there can provide me with this information in english. Many thanks in advance! Kate.

You should not need to remove anything to check and clean pump filter.
Open the filter door at the bottom right front of washer, there you will see the pump filter cover, unscrew the filter anti-clockwise, and remove the filter, and clean same.
With the filter out, you will see the filter housing, which is fastened directly on to the pump, have a good look inside the housing, and see if anything is stuck in there.
Refit filter, and test.
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Bosch washing machine leaks at right bottom

The part that you removed, was the pump filter, the pump is located behind the filter, possibly, the pump itself is leaking, or the filter cover is not fastened in tight enough, pr the filter seal is defective, if after tightening, it still leaks, suggest you replace the pump.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If it won't flash any error code then the issue is with its Electronic control going bad and should be replaced. However, before replacing the panel check the door switch as if that's bad you'll have to replace it. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

It is obvious the drain or pump out is not working. There is a blockage in the outlet. Check the drain under the sink nby removing the hose and making sure the hole is not blocked. The pump in the dishwasher may be blocked. fixing this may not be within your field of expertise and a technician may be needed. Good luck

My siemens washing machine S14.39 keeps stopping at display F:18

Hi

It is your pump that is failing / bolked with hair and treds behind the impeller. The pump is not the best design as ther can enter smal treds and hair behind the impeller into the paking ring (seal). There is only one sollution that help - change the pump. Can be don from the fron of the mashine. Only one screw on the right side has to be removed to remove the plastig cover and the one screw to losen the pump.

Install New Belt

Lift the headlight and rotate the thumb dial to release the carpet head. It will spin to the side. Rotate the square handle at the front of the vac fully to the left.
Remove the carpet head and open it from the bottom side. Observe which side had a little block below the LED belt indicator when you rotate the brush. The brush must go back in this way. The blocks at the end of the brush are color coded for height adjustment. Remove the brush, slide a genuine belt onto the center and close the bottom cover of the housing. make sure the brush spins freely, now look into the belt opening, round hole at the side. Using the square dial at the front of the head, rotate the hook into the belt to twist the belt and open it for installation onto the motor shaft.
Reinstall the head onto the vac, using the thumb dial to lock into place and rotate the square handle again . This will release the belt tension onto the motor shaft. Raise the vac up two knotches with the pedal before lower onto the carpet.
