Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have had my Beosound 1 for several years without any problems. Recently though it gets to a certain point on the 1st track of any CD it is playing and starts to skip until it finally stops playing altogether. If you then reload the same CD it plays fine. Not a massive problem, but we are planning on using the stereo at our wedding, so would like to get it sorted.
It may be that the brushes on the CD spindle motor are getting dirty. A relatively easy fix, IF you know how to open a Beosound 1 without causing damage. I used to work in a B&O Authorized Service Center, and I suggest contacting the one nearest you first for an estimate. Most "normal" shops are most likely not prepared to handle the sometimes complex disassembly/reassembly issues.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
