Sounds like a loose connection to one of the wires in the speaker. or interference. i would try unplugging the system for a few minutes and turn them back on. also shut the sub woofer see if that helps to. let me know.

Logitech Z-2300 subwoofer/Bass volume cannot completely shutoff

Make sure the wired remote is connected completely and if that doesn't work try putting a pillow or a pile of blankets to cover both the subwoofer driver and the air port on it and that should reduce the sound coming from it. Also if it is in a corner or on a solid floor like wood or tile i would move it to a less enclosed space with carpet or a rug. Thats all I got I hope that helps.

Center/subwoofer speaker out...mixed

Hi all, I also purchased a logitech x-540 a few days ago and also have the center speaker outputting sound when i test or play the subwoofer. I didn't think this is normal and am now confused. Maybe its a problem with the audio drivers? MB is a ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 with Soundmax drivers. Hopefully someone can help to diagnose/ find a soluytion.

Annoying humming sound coming from subwoofer...

The humming sound usually comes from the DC supply that is not filtered. The a/c converted or changed to DC needs to be "cleaned", before going into the ckt. Usually the capacitor and resistor network go bad, maybe causing the fuse to open. Even if you replace it, u may still have the "humming" because the circuit is still bad.
If you know how to look at the capacitor, resistor,or coils AFTER the diodes & replace the damaged part, u should be good!

Whistling sound

hi

the problem you are having is most likely electrical noise generated by your alternator one way of fixing this is to get a noise filter or noise suppressor other wise make sure your power cable don't run adjacent other wires this itself might create interference this includes your aerial wire

Subwoofers

do you mean that when your sub woofers are working, there is a whistling type sound coming out of your ported box? is this sound coming out of the port? If it is, this simply means that the port was not properly made, and is actually acting as a whistle. If the port is a removeable plastic one, check to see if it has the flared end (like a trumpet or trombone) on the internal end of the port (inside the box) if it doesnt, go to your local stereo shop and see if they can get you ones that have flares. Sharp edges anywhere in an opening that air passes through will act like a whistle. Annoying isnt it?
