Remotes do not work---no arrow comes up on the screen--the blue lights on the bottom

Hello, sounds like you might just need to sync them to the console again. Even if you did nothing, they randomly lose sync now and then. Even some updates cause them to lose sync with the Wii. All you have to do is
: 1) Hold down the sync button on the Wii console for 15 seconds or so. This completely resets the sync on all remotes. 2) Sync the remote again by pushing the sync button on the inside of the battery cover while the Wii is on, then pushing the sync button on the console again.
I hope this helps! :D

Cant get pass the "press A button" screen

Turn off for a moment, try again, reconnect your controller.

Since its brand new, you can get it replaced if that doesn't work, dont waste your energy on it, just get another one, free replacement / warraty. Im sure.

MY WII BALANCE BOARD IS CHARGED BUT THE BLUE LIGHT WONT STAY ON.

  1. Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game disc in the Wii console.

  2. Use the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel from the Wii Menu, then select "Start" to begin the game. Press the A Button to bypass the wrist strap screen.

  3. Open the small SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.

  4. Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.

  5. Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Balance Board. The blue light on the board will start blinking.

  6. Press and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console while the blue light on the board is still blinking.

  7. The blue light will stop blinking and stay on steady once the syncronization is complete.

It wont do any updats

You may need to reset your console, when it first comes on, there is an icon at the bottom of your channels screen, i believe it is an icon that looks like tools. you will have to reset it. even on the console you can reset it with the red button. once you do it, turn it on and click for updates. sometimes it takes a while but please let it finish or it could cause problems if you interrupt it. also when you see your wii lighting up blue it is doing automatic updates, just let it finish

My wii unit does't work. There is nothing but a black screen.

Hi.If the power light is green or orange and your screen remains blank, follow these steps.

1. Completely power down your system by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, unplug the AC Adapter from the Wii for a moment, then plug it back in.

2. Make sure your Wii console has the most current Wii system menu. Download the latest update, and then test your Wii console to determine if the problem has been resolved. If you continue to experience this issue, there is a problem with the Wii console and it will need to be repaired by a certified Nintendo service tech.

SYSTEM UPDATE

If your Wii console is currently connected on-line, you can download the latest Wii System Update by selecting the "Wii System Update" button from Wii System Settings menu. Downloading the latest Wii System Update will add the most current features to your Wii console. If you already have the latest update, on-screen messaging will indicate so after the Wii console searches the available Wii System Updates.

Bricked my wii

Sorry to hear about your Wii. The ONLY way to restore your Wii back to normal is if you made a backup of your Wii's NAND using BootMii. Currently there are no ways to fix this unless you have your Wii's NAND.
