    Hi,

Can you try the steps below.

    1. Insert a fabric square into the Photosmart "In" tray. Make sure to remove any regular paper and leave only one fabric square in the tray at a time.

    2. Open the file you want to print. Adjust the placement of the image and make sure the image's colors and size are what you want. Click on the "File" option at the top of the program, then "Print." Under the print properties select "Best" under "Print Quality," and "Plain Paper" for "Paper Type." Click on the "OK" button to accept the settings and start printing.

    3. Wait for the ink on the fabric sheet to dry completely before removing the paper backing sheet. Follow any instructions from the fabric sheet manufacturer as far as prepping the fabric before using it.

My hp2600 printer says carriage jam and I have already cleared it. I can't see anything blocking it but when i hit o.k. it makes a slight grinding noise but the carriage moves back and forth fine. I have...

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Canon LBP5000 lack of Red (magenta)

Searched on web for same problem on HP2600 printer and found a sight that explained how to fix it. It is caused by the mirrors getting dirty. Magenta is the first one affected because it is on the bottom and points upwards. Requires printer to be pulled apart and mirrors cleaned. takes about 1 to 2 hours. HP2600 printer seems to be the same as Canon LBP5000.

HP 5610v states 'paper jam' and there isn't one - how to reset?

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud
