What is Pulse Flow and how is it different from Continuous Flow ?

Pulse and continuous flow (or pulse dose and continuous flow dose) refer to how the oxygen is delivered to the patient. A pulse flow machine delivers oxygen only when the patient inhales and is triggered by inhaling. A continuous flow machine delivers a continuous flow of oxygen. Most continuous flow machines will deliver BOTH pulse and continuous flow. Here is oxygen tank process

My mother has a Digit Pulse Oxymeter and I was wondering how one knows if the %oxygen is reading correctly. Lately all her readings are always 97%. Very little variation.

The normal oxygen saturation in the body read by the any pulse oximeter whether it is portable or built in type is 95%-100%. If ***********'s oxygen reading as you have said is 97% definitely it is within the normal range. You can also check and make sure that your oximeter is working by placing the oximeter to your finger. If the pulse read by the oximeter is the same with your heartbeat it means that is working alright and the oxygen reading would fall between 95-100%. I hope my answers will help you.

92 toyota pickup won't start

An engine requires certain things to be functional. It needs petrol and it need oxygen and a source of ignition to burn the petrol and oxygen. There are other thing too but these 3 are essential. Is there petrol in the storage tank on the vehicle? Is air able to teach the throttle body. Is the ignitor system receiving electricity. The presence of a failed storage cell or the lack of one will not only prevent the ignotion from working it will also prevent the starting motor from spinning the propulsion engine and initiating operation. When it is determined what of these three items is lacking the problen can be corrected.

Apart from the gas filter in the tank, there is a small plastic attachment that looks like a web with a tail. What is it and where does it connect to?

it clips to the gas cap to keep the cap from falling and rolling under the beer fridge. It comes off too easily and can be pulled out and thrown away.

Serial numbers on oxygen tanks

I have never heard of such a program in 40 years of dealing with compressed gases. I would be more concerned with the last test date on the top of the bottle. The topmost and biggest stamp is the last hydro test date. It consists of a number for the the month then a symbol then a number for the year. All pressurized cylinders which are regulated by DOT (Dept. of Transportation). Absolutely NOBODY will fill that bottle with anything if that date is five years old or more. If it is, no problem, you send it in for a "Hydro Test" to recertitfy it for five more years for about $40. The rest of the numbers aren't anything as important as the last hydro test date. The gas in the bottle has nothing to do with the DOT regulations. It's all about pressure.

Ready heater forced air 60 kerosene run for 4 min or so and dyes

#2 fuel is too dirty, use #1 or clear K-1.

I have found when running mine in any confined space like a garage, it will consume too much oxygen if not vented. It might run till it draws down the oxygen level. You start at 21% and draw down the oxygen to 14% that is where mine kicks out.

Clean out the filter, flush the tank, put in clean K-1, You might need to replace the igniter. Check your fuel line pressue (mine was 4 psi).
Good Luck
