Hello!

Check to make sure you resync the keyboard. Some times, when a wireless keyboard or mouse loses signal, you have to press a "Sync" button on the receiver (or device) to restore the connection. Some of the newer mice and keyboards from Logitech resync automatically, it just depends on what brand and model you have.

I hope this helps! If you're still unable to get it to reconnect, you're probably dealing with a malfunctioning keyboard. Check into the warranty!

Suddenly can't type in keyboard. Desktop computer. Brand new batteries. Must fix soon. Help!

I would take the batteries back out and put them back in. You may have put the batteries in the wrong way. Another thing you can do is to unplug the dongle that came with the keyboard and mouse. You can wait a few seconds and plug it back in. The batteries you are installing may be bad. Try installing another set of alkaline batteries. Try rebooting your computer, see if that helps. Your wireless keyboard and mouse may be going out. You can find new wireless keyboards and mice at Walmart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Etc.

Why does my brand new, just unpacked wireless Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (unit mk550) doesn't work? When I received the unit, both off/on switches were on. The keyboard was 'dead' nothing

You can change the batteries, then push the connection button on the back of the keyboard, also, download the logitech software to help get it set up.

I have a wireless HP Keyboard/mouse. (SPS # 481019-001. The receiver (usb) # is 481021-001. My problem is that the keyboard works great and the mouse does not work at all. I have no idea why. I put new...

From the manufacturer's web-site:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=3807046&lc=en

the specifications state:

•Energy efficient : Conserve energy with PC sleep button. Monitor battery level with convenient on screen battery level indicator. Long battery life (keyboard - 12 months typical, mouse - 4 months typical).

So, the mouse _DOES_ need a new battery. Take it to a computer-store, to get them to sell you a new battery, after showing you how to remove the old battery.

How to turn keyboard and mouse on

make sure there is new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard. Also the wireless receiever that connects to the computer is responding as well.

After you get new batteries put in and also have the receiever plugged in. press the caps lock, num lock keys and see if they light up on the receiver. If they light up then things are working, if they don't then bring up the notepad and see if any of the keys show up in notepad when you type and also see if the cursor on the screen moves for your mouse.

Hopefully both of them will work once you change batteries. If both don't work after changing batteries then you'll need to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse kit.

Wireless keyboard doesnt work with switch

once you have switched pc you will need to re-sync the wireless keyboard and mouse with the new pc, because although you have switched pc the keyboard and mouse do not know this. there should be a reset/resync button on the bottom of both the keyboard and mouse
