Hi love2tony,

These are actually two different features. Text to Speech, and Speech to Text. If this is a cell phone or business phone that feature is provided via the cell phone provider or business phone system. Sometimes voice messaging/email/sms systems have this feature. Many cell phones have voice activate to dial for example, but Speech to Text. If this has helped you, please rate the response on Fixya.com. Thanks!

Our voicemail system is inactive but my phone says I have a MSG, how do I clear that?

You can have a (sort of text) message from one set to another without voicemail. Voicemail uses that mechanism to tell you you have a message. Feature 1 is Send message, Feature 65 is View Message, or press the soft key under the MSG display. After viewing it, another soft key should say ERASE.

Innovated devices has several feature functions, voice mails, recorder message functions, text messaging, voice through video functionalities. past devices however either have one or the remaining mentioned. For example payphones have voice communications, mobile phones have voice or depending on the modernity would allow picturegrapics or videograpics or internet conferecing. famililiarise with the device to ascertain what has been integrated by the manufacturer. goodluck

Would like to put my own message on my answer machine

You have not mentioned the make/ model of the set. All what is needed is to find the reccording key/button or in the menu and press recording aftera signal beep. Be prepared with a good message to be dictated into the microphone of the answering machine. This should be short and clear. Once you finsh the message save and exit. Now put your machine to the auto answer mode and make a test call. You must receive the message now. Try this out with your machine. Good day

I need gprs settings for sagem my w-8

Even the manual configuration settings can be provided by your service provider. Go throughj the phone manual first and check what all GPRS settings are required. Just call the service provider again and ask the representative to dictate the specific GPRS settings you need for the phone. That must do it for you.

Wont send mms txts on my LGKS 360

Yes, if don't have any mms settings or mms profile set, you can't send/recieve MMS.

To get the settings contact your service provider.
They will send you a push message or will manually dictate you the settings.

If this was helpful to you, Kindly Do Rate!

Don't have a manual need to set announce message

Turn on auto answer mode by pressing ans on/off button on base. Message indicator should light. Now press and hold the announce button until you hear an audible beep. After the beep start recording your message. Release the button after you have finished dictating your message. To review your message press and release the announce button.
Also if you need it the manual for your phone can be downloaded from http://www.retrevo.com/Samples/GE-manuals.html
