Well if you maybe gave people a hint as to what the hell audio system you need to install they may be able to point you in the direction of the driver, maybe give them a clue as to the make or model of the pc, the question you asked is like going to the doctors and saying I'm ill, give me an operation to fix it. and then being suprised when they chop your leg off instead of taking your tonsils out..

Audio sound device is not clear. //// intel motherboard dg31rp model system

hi..
There are various possible causes of the problems that occurred, including the problem of software drivers, operating system problems or problems of hardware (audio card)
do an audit to identify the problem occurred.
1 - remove the old driver and then reinstall the driver for audio card.
2 - you can make two choices if you want to reinstall the operating system or perform a test by installing new audio card.
(the installation of the operating system / format, is to ensure that the operating system is
100% working )

Hello

Make sure the audio jumpers on the motherboard is in the correct position. If possible, refer to the manual of the motherboard to verify the settings

)Are the speakers you using is working and powered on.Check out in another computer,if possible

Try to remove all expansion cards example modem,DVB-cards etc.Just install the video card thats all and then check the sytem.

Have you connected to the right ports of the computer.

Is the audio device built-in on the motherboard or is it a PCI card?

Try to remove all drivers from the device manager and extra software you might have installed and reboot.See if windows detects it or not.

Motherboard could be faulty or the PCI card whichever you have

If it is a PCI card, remove and reinstall. If possible try using different set of speakers

Remove the PCI card,if it is one,Try to reinstall windows,if possible and don't try installing the drivers at the start of the computer.Soon after windows finish installing,Shutdown the PC,insert the card and then boot system.See if windows recongnizes it or not.

My laptop start very slow and no audio

Possible that some of the files are corrupt or removed off with a virus in the system. you will need to reinstall the OS if the restoration to an earlier date will not improve.
Now reinstall the sound card drivers which also could have lost with the virus.

HAVE TRIED ALL FIXES ON MY ASPIRE ONE,MODEL#AOA110,AND STILL NO AUDIO---WHY????

If you are sure about the reinstallation of the software into the PC without any result, You must try to reload the Operating System fully once again if not done. Format and reinstall, then install the audio drivers and use the audio test....opening audio settings.
If there is no result, then it is possible that the audio harware is faulty on the maiin board.
Please take a check with acer to confirm and estimate--- just in case your drivers have errrors.

No audio device found

Download Driver Cleaner Pro v.15 from the link. Also, download, and save on your desktop, a clean version of your Sound Card drivers. Run DCPv1.5 and remove all of your audio drivers, plus any possible problem drivers (i.e., if you installed generic drivers to try and get your card to work). After you uninstall, reboot, install your downloaded drivers and reboot again. This should fix your problem, if not please post an update to this thread and I'll continue troubleshooting with you.

No sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.

Device driver

Hey there byadava, when you reinstall an operating system, the memory gets totally wiped when it is reformatted. The result is that all the system drivers for your motherboard are also erased. You will need to get the drivers for sound, and other things as well. They can be found at the manufacturer's support site. They are free and you simply choose from a list of possible downloads they provide. If you need help with that step let me know, and please provide your model name and number. Good Luck!
