http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1459/~/cleaning-printhead-on-all-in-one-printer

If you want, you could try cleaning the printhead. Follow these directions to remove the printhead: http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1153/~/installing%2Freplacing-printhead-in-esp-or-hero-all-in-one-printer. Then try soaking the printhead in rubbing alcohol. After it dries, put it back in and see if it helped.

If that doesn't work, consider buying a new printhead. It looks like they're only $10:

My Canon Pro9000 MarkII prints photos with a red tint

You probably haven't calibrated your monitor to show the correct colours, so in whatever photo programme you're using, you're setting the red tones too high. Test this by first not calibrating your monitor, but turning down all the red tone until it looks washed out. Print this and see if it's better. If so, set your monitor to a cooler colour temperature. If the result is no better, check your print dialogue settings to make sure you are using an appropriate colour profile. And, for example, if you're using Photoshop, tick 'let Photoshop manage colours' in the advanced profile settings box. Hope this helps. I doubt there's anything wrong with the printer.

Printer has worked perfectly since purchased, suddenly started printing only the black portions of a photo. Did a nozzle check which confirmed only black cartridge functioning. Deep cleaned all heads....

The print head is still probably still partially blocked. Cleaning/deep cleaning tries to clear the head by flushing ink through, doesn't always work but does use up your ink.

You can get print head cleaning kits, PC shops, ebay etc. Try one of those.

Here's a really useful ebay url. with some youtube links, if you run the second video down you should get a pretty good idea.

Here's a direct link :- http://www.printheadhospital.co.uk/quickshop/

You don't have to buy this one, there may be cheaper, have a shop around.

How to disassemble Braun pulsonic razor,.. yes there's a screw in the 12volt inlet but there must be others else where, I assume under the rubber cover,.. but how does that come off so it may be...

To disassemble a Braun 9595 (and others like it):

Remove the rubber back and side piece by prying with a small screwdriver on one side near where the three arc design meets the silver body (photo 1). After releasing one side snap (photo 2), release the opposite side snap or use your fingers to pry around the rubber piece until both snaps are disengaged and the piece can be removed (photo 3).

This reveals the back of the shaver, which is held in place with four Torx screws. Fortunately, the screw heads are slotted so that either a torx wrench or a slotted screwdriver may be used for removal.

After the screws are removed, the shaver back plate may be lifted out (photo 4), exposing the battery and control board assembly, and the shaver/motor assembly (photo 5).

The battery is not soldered in place and may be removed by prying on one end to lift its positive or negative pin away from its contact. Then remove the battery (note that the negative side points to the shaver head. Also, the positive and negative pins are sized differently to prevent accidental reversal.

Reassembly has one essential step that must be followed or the razor will not function properly. Photo 6 shows the correct engagement of the shaver's back plate plastic pins with the shaver head's capture slots (shown "upside down"). Photo 7 shows the potential misalignment after the shaver head is inserted into the shaver body for reassembly. To overcome this when installing the shaver's back plate, ensure that the back plate's pins are first inserted into the capture slots (photo 8). Although the back plate may not appear to be positioned properly at first, it may be pushed downward which will "pull" the screw holes into alignment for inserting the screws.

Before inserting the screws, test the power ON button to ensure that all contacts have properly been made. If the shaver does not operate, check to see if any of the power tabs have been bent away from its associated contact point.justwomore_8.jpgjustwomore_7.jpgjustwomore_6.jpgjustwomore_5.jpgjustwomore_4.jpgjustwomore_3.jpgjustwomore_2.jpgjustwomore_1.jpg

The yellow print head is not working. I have replaced the ink cartridge, performed the cleaning and performed the deep cleaning. Yellow is still not showing up on the test sheet.

Try unclogging manually.Warning!!! Next steps may can make your print head not unusable.
Open the cover and first remove the ink cartridges. Then open the holder and remove the print head.Run hot tap water and put the print head with the nozzles up to stream water.Hold that 5 mins then turn the print head around with the nozzles down.Hold that for every color of 5 mins. Then put the print head in hot water with the nozzles down.Left it water about 15 mins and then you must very nice to dry. When the print head dry put it in printer and start cleaning. If this not help you need to replace the print head. It's part number is QY6-0050.

Won't print but few lines til black fades out

It pretty much sounds to me like you have "outdated" or old cartridges. Are you using the photo setting to print photos? Before you purchase more expensive cartridges do a head cleaning! Good luck.

Ip5000 printer

This could be down to None canon carts clogging the head up or clogging the purge unit up, If they are all canon carts it could still be down to the print head, if not it could be down to the Logic Board. At the worse case it could be down to both printhead and Logic Board

Hope this helps

2. Press UP or DOWN arrow to highlight Maintenance, then press OK.
3. Press UP or DOWN arrow to highlight Clean Print Head, then press OK.

*NOTE: The cleaning takes several seconds, during which the message 'Cleaning print head. Please wait.' appears on the screen.

6. Check the pattern to see if there are any gaps in the lines. If there are gaps, press OK to clean the print head again. If there are no gaps, press Cancel to go back to the PictureMate Main Menu.
