Go to /Library/InputManagers and move the ct_loader.bundle file to the Trash and relaunch Safari.

Also, go to ~/Library/Internet Plugins and remove anything CT Loader related there.

Possible help here also.

More suggestions here.

or use another computer to download safari for mac and put it on a flash drive and install it on ur macbook.

Blocked plug-in

You didn't say what web browser you are using, so I can only provide a generic answer. Your security settings or software may be blocking a browser plugin identified as a security risk, or the browser has in some manner determined that the plugin is incompatible with a newer version of a subsidiary application (such as Flash Player). Another possibility is that the browser security asked permission of one of the users to use the plugin and that permission was denied.
Find your plugin manager (perhaps in the browser preferences menu item) and remove the offending plugin. If it isn't a security issue and you really need it, you can download a new copy the next time you hit a page that uses it. It's also possible that all plugins have been blocked. Example: Safari:Preferences... menu item > Security tab > check "Enable Plugins" in the Web Content section.

This msg appears: Safari 5.1 (v7534.48.3) has not been tested with the plugin FastBrowser search plugin (null) (v.1.0) As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact Plugin Developer for further...

You have a plugin installed on Safari called "FastBrowser search plugin". All the message is saying is that the version of Safari you have (5.1) has not been tested with that plugin, so it might not function properly.

I have been trying to install adobe flash player on my hp pavillion for safari yet when i try to get it to download it says i have to close safari how is it that i must install it then??

Adobe Flash Player will only install when Safari is not running. This is normal. Adobe Flash Player uses a separate installer that will install Flash independently.

Get the flash player at this web site:

I hope you find this information helpful.

Safari wont open says "safari quit unexpectedly

That crash message indicates an incompatible 3rd party plug-in (CT_plugin) with Safari. Via the Finder, it will be located in either the HD>Library>Internet Plugins or InputManagers or Application Support Folder. If in neither location, look in your User Account>Library - same two folders. When you find it, move it to the desktop, then restart Safari.

When I send some messages they are taking a while to send. Not all are doing this but a lot are. This has been going on for about 3 days

Does the problem occur while using a different browser (i.e. Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari)?

If not, the problem is most likely related to IE.

Alternatively, if the problem occurs while using one of the above mentioned browsers, it's probably local to that browser instead.

Try updating the browser to its most recent version. That option is usually available within the Tools or Help options in the top menu bar of the browser.

If that doesn't fix the problem, there might be an issue with the plugin (Flash, Java, etc.) that allows Yahoo! email to run in the browser.

Try updating any obvious plugins similar to those I just mentioned.

I also recommend updating Windows, just in case.

If you have an account with a different e-mail service like Hotmail or Google, try sending a message from that account and see if the behavior persists.

Hope this helps!
