Hi tg_sanford,

just look around the mouse if there are any switches that opens the mouse, this should be an easy task, once you found it insert the batteries and put the cover back on.

i hope this helps, good luck!

Battery replacement on logitech wireless mouse How do you open it?

On the bottom of the mouse, where the area to put your USB is, there is a tiny little button that has an image of a battery (it's really little). Push that, and the covering that houses the batteries will pop up. You can then remove the covering easily.

Mouse will not charge when put in the base

I have a very bad solution about this, but it works on my mouse that also doesn't work. Try to put a tiny bit of water ( or spit Oo ) on the little, usually copper, receivers on the mouse. That makes for a better contact. Just get your finger wet and touch those receivers.

How do I charge or charge the battery in my Logitech Mouse?

The batteries are under the area where you palm rests. They usually open with a slight pressure pushing back on the upper case. Like openning a cell phone. Depending on what model you have they could be either AA or AAA batteries.

I do not know how to open the battery compartment

On my Logitech wireless mouse, the battery cover is on top.

Hold the front (switch and roller ball section) in your left hand then put your thumb on the Logitech symbol/name on the top cover and move/slide the cover to the right. The back section of the mouse cover top should slide off exposing the battery compartment.

Hope this helps! Dan

Where's the batteries?

Hello,
I had a similar problem with my battery going dead in my Logitech mouse. There was a "aa" battery located under the rear top cover. it's the part that has the Logitech logo on it. You simply press the button underneath the mouse @ the back that has a LOCK symbol on it & lift off the cover. Put in a new battery & you should be good to go.
