Hi amanda_peaco,

The best solution is to take it to a tech shop and ask the cables to be connected manually.

or take it to the shop where you bought it with a receipt and ask them for repair.

other than that there are no solutions. unless you want to get some tape handy and strip the wires your self & connect the right ones.

i hope this helps, good luck!

Skullcandy lowrider headphone band snapped or broke. earphones work perfect but can't wear on my head.

If you live in the USA or Canada Skull Candy have a lifetime warranty on thier products so I would check with them. Even if you don't still enquire.

I have a pair of Skull Candy and my grand daughter cut the cable, can they be repaired

They probably could be repaired, but it would require stripping of the wire and connecting the correct wires back together.
In other words, you would be better off buying a new pair.

You can remove the plastic around the cut ends and tie the corresponding wires back together and then cover the visible wires with electrical tape. This may or may not work if you're not experienced but if you're willing to give it a shot, good luck.

I accidentally caught my cable on a door handle and it yanked them back. Now the left hand side speaker doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix them?

You need to determine if the break is in the cable, done by flexing it to see if it comes on (do it in several different places) or the disconection has occured inside the headshell.
If inside then you will have to take off the ear pad and any foam and you should see access screws. It may look a bit like the follow inside:
You may need to resolder the connection.

The top extendable cushioned area snapped

This may be not the answer your looking for but I would recommend not buying Skull Candy headphones. The quality of the headphones are really bad and they have a very short life span. I am an audiophile with a tight budget and my headphones have lasted for a long time in many conditions. I have Sennheiser HD212Pro Headphones and there amazing. Trust me, I used to have Skull Candy headphones and there nothing compared to the Sennheiser HD212Pro's.

Skull Candy Headphone problem

The wires can easily break inside the insulation without showing it outside. The good news I'm about 99% sure it isn't in the headset or at least one would work.

So, can you see any markings where it got caught in the door? If so I would cut the cable a couple of inches towards the headset from there and install a new plug . The plug is wired as follows: bare coppers both go to the contact that leads to the large sleeve on the plug. The other two wires each go to one ot the other two contacts. A little solder and you're on your way again.
